A lot of people commenting on the price of the ebike. Here is something I want you to consider. @badkittytime has spent $20,000 in diesel fuel this year over 60K miles in the RAM 3500. This ebike does not require fuel, oil, registration or insurance. The cost of the ebike is much less than maintaining a motorbike or car over time.

To me, 50mph is the right speed for an ebike, not because you will want to ride at that speed, but doing 30-35mph all the will be easy on the bike, motor and battery so it will last longer because its not being pushed to its limits all the time.if you want to go 50mph+, better to get a proper motorcycle imo. It will last linger and be a better value.
I saw one this morning and I was side by side with it and I was going 60mph and he was a few feet ahead of me. So 50+mph very impressive!
The biggest thing I run into with ebike range and speed claims is that they never get that high range at their rated top speeds. So If it can pull off 200 Miles in speed mode 2, then I will be fully impressed. So far with the video, we saw less than that due to less than stellar conditions (fighting the wind, wrong light settings etc). Also.. 300 Charge Cycles really isn't that great. Not to mention the battery pack is ~$2500 when it comes time to replace it.
To those that want to know, this bike is $7k.
How do you maintain long range and longer cycle? I have range concerns too
@@shahebmiah7724 The best way to avoid ruining the battery is by not riding the full range before you charge back up. Also the faster you go, the more power is required. So going slower keeps the range higher.
Nope. The battery pack isn't rated at 300 cycles.
It's rated at 3000 cycles :)

Still 3000 though it is 10x more, still doesn't last too long if you are riding that hard all the time.

That e-bike costs about $5,600 and will therefore be out of reach to many individuals.
And once its battery is depleted, you walk.
Recharging that battery takes about 5 hours, if you brought the special charger.
200 miles?! That is 330 km. Where are you going to ride that far?! Your ass cheeks will not take it.

I would pay $3k-$4k tops. At a price of $7k and no legal access to the highway. You can get a decent motorcycle (Ninja 300) for about $3-4k. And use the extra $3K you saved for maintenance/parts and gas to last you a few years.

@@thetruthisfreedom There is what I think a better choice and that is the CAB Eagle and Recon. Both of them more powerful and better built. Both of them are made in Los Angeles. I sure wish someone would do a comparison of the two because that video would get so many hits it would be crazy.

200 miles... at 15 MPH with pedal assistance level 1 on a flat surface.
that 200 mile can only be achieved going 20 mph, which isn't bad if you're looking to ride legal.
what needs to be done is higher speeds at lower power, it is possible to draw 500 watts of power while doing 50km/h or 31mph lol but the bike would have to be geared, acceleration would be slow as well

In the UK , anything with more than a 250Watt electric motor is not an electric bicycle but either a moped or motor cycle! So in the UK all these powerful electric " bicycles" require a driving licence tax , Mot and insurance!

I was in the fire department. WAY above my personal speed limit.
Any electric bike capable of going greater than 28 miles per hour is considered a motor cycle and requires a license plate and a valid drivers license to operate. Any electric bike that does not kill power at 20 mph and has a greater than 750 watts motor (1 hp) is not allowed on bike trails. In many states and jurisdictions throttles are not allowed on bike trails. What you have here is an electric motor cycle - a very cool machine. Just make sure all the legalities are covered.
Police will just think it's a normal 20mph e bike if you stay riding on sidewalks and trails.

lights draw about 10 watts of power even if you have a 240 watt hour battery it would take one day to deplete it so the lights being on is not the issue, the issue is that to reach the stated 200 miles 320km you would be need to be going at speeds less than 25km/h or maybe like 15-16mph!

How long does it take to fully charge?
lets assume the bike has a 4kw battery which is 72v 55ah so with a 5 amp charger it would take 11 hours, 10 amp charger would be 5.5 hours and a 2 amp charger would take over a day to charge

Or even cheaper….a moped of some sort that still gets. Higher speed and 80+ miles a gallon
and you need to put gas in it as well as have a license, tags, and insurance to ride it.
This is no gas, almost no maintenance, super stealth, and you can go ANYWHERE, park, street, off road, trails, etc.
You can go anywhere a moped or motorcycle can go because this is way too fast to be considered a class 3 ebike.
Yea then you need to fill it with gas everyday, don’t forget about a license, and the checkups you’ll be paying for? Oh did I mention you need to pay insurance every month or you can’t use it? 💀
If you use low pedal assist and pedal the entire time, you may get 200 miles but using throttle only, I'd say 50 miles would be more realistic, it's only a 48ah battery so if you do the math 72volts x 48amp hrs = 3,456 watt hrs ÷ 20 watt hrs per mile = 172.8 miles throttle only cuts that in half so you end up with 86.4 miles and if you go full throttle cut it in half again = 43.2 miles of hauling ass, that's about it, lol

In NJ for no registration it can only go 20mph or have less than a 250 watt motor. Over that and it needs registration and a helmet and sht.
