What's the hardest thing about getting your child to try new things to eat?

He just turned 3 and I can't get him to try anything else. He survives strictly on yogurt, cottage cheese, and goldfish. He will vomit if he puts anything else in his mouth. Not sure how to go about this.

My 2 boys refuse to eat anything I cook. They are 8 & 10. I’ve tried everything to get them to try food. The norm is to sit there at the dinner table and cry every evening. We do sit family style. Ive let them help me prepare food, let them dish it up themselves, choose their portions and I expect them to only taste it. I let them choose what I prepare. Nothing!
The only thing that remotely works is to starve them throughout the day and serve the exact same thing for dinner night after night. Eventually they’ll start kind of eating it. This doesn’t fly well for the other 4 kids and husband, or for the two picky eaters.
I worry about them constantly and dread meal time. I’m so frustrated that usually I just let them have a piece of toast and sit in the other room to eat it to avoid the stress and crying.
I’ve pretty much done everything you’ve listed in this video. But will give it another try and hope by some miracle they get their daily nutrition some how. If it isn’t sweet - they’ll have none of it!

I have twins and one of them refuses to try anything. Won’t even eat any fruit 😢 and all other foods especially vegetables. Only like rice or bulgar sometimes spaghetti pasta not the sauce.. I’m really stressed

I'm struggling to get my 3 year old with trying new foods but I think it's because of textures. I've tried so many things to try get her to branch out but she will just refuse to eat then. Even some of her "safe" foods she won't eat all the time. I keep trying the best that I can, but it still feels like it's not enough or I'm not doing some thing right. I want her to have a healthy relationship with food.

My book, Try New Food is a good place to start. Also, my website, thenourishedchild.com has a lot of free articles on picky eating too.
