Here I show what steps I take to get the headlights looking like new again. I also immediately protect them with a very good Coating from Sonax Profiline with up to 1 year of protection.

Do you recommend putting a ppf or is this coating enough to protect from UV rays and scratches? thanks for the reply 🙏

Hello, No, with this Sonax Headlight Profiline you are good for a year, if you had not done PPF. It is resistant to UV but not scratches even if you have a coating.

I think I would’ve used a ceramic coating like Gyeon MOHS because it shines and wiped off easier. It almost looks like the headlight coating dulled the polish you just did prior. Or a paste sealant that you could leave on for some minutes to bond. But you’re an exit so maybe it looks better after some self leveling 14:47

Yes the headlight just became super bright at the end. It's easy that this coating is in a bag is just right for 2 headlights.

I like when it is clearcoated, than it last. If you just polish plexiglass, you have to take extra care of it, so not for me.. I want as less maintenance as possible so I better spend 1 hour more but result is much durable...

  • @americantruckeringermany8394

so confused. why didnt you show the final result after curing. what rpm are you running the machine at?

The end result is actually the photo. R.P.M. is for this machine between 4000-5500. I had it here on position 2. Normally I have it on position 3 or 4 for polishing.

Thanks sir, Here I have the machine on position 2, this went perfectly for the headlights. Usually on paint I use the machines setting 2 to spread compound or polish. And then I put it on setting 3 or 4 to polish.
