that white long thing is indeed window decoration that was widely used in the Netherlands at the end of the 20th century. It was usually done at the bottom of the window, so you didn't have a view of people walking past your window, but you did get light. I think it was called "een valletje"

    • The grommets really make the hat look so professional
    • I love using curtains, there’s so many with cool details that make great garments - the vest turned out great

That first piece of fabric is actually made to be a Cafe Curtain. A rod goes through all the holes at the top.

First piece you are working with (the white) is actually a curtain. Great idea you have.

For gathering you should try the method of sewing a wide zigzag stitch over some thread, its way faster :)

Those are curtains, lol. The holes are there for sticking the curtain rod through. 🙂

I gather by using a tight tension and then I distribute it evenly when I'm sewing it to another piece

I know that we can't fully control how we speak, yet your delivery is noticeably measured compared to the overabundance of "quirky girl!" youtubers. I cringe at the overuse of "literally" in most creators' vids and the fast edit styles. So, uh, I suppose just thanks for being natural and you. It works! ha!

Would you ever release a pattern for the top you sell on your website?
