Francis Dunnery, master guitar player. I think It Bites were way too good for the mainstream pop punters to appreciate at the time. I also helped to arrange a drum clinic with Bob Dalton and the drummer from the Cardiacs, probably around the late 80's for Paiste Cymbals and ABC Music. Privileged to have seen It Bites live a couple of times.
I saw both it bites & cardiacs many times there is a connection defiantly it bites i would say were influenced by cardiacs Dominic cardiacs drummer lovely guy
It Bites were definitely happier with a musical crowd..especially a certain type of musician....brilliant band in their creative field. Love em.

Great band! Love them since I first heard them in the 90s.
As a signed band in the 80,s ,,we worshipped the mighty It Bites music more than our own lol,,the arrangements the syncopation, guitar god dunnery the vocals and keyboard wizardry,,better stop there haha They required a bit too much effort for the main steam sheep .
They tried to prog the sheep through the back door, dressed as pop stars, but were caught out Lol!
Thanks for sharing this great footage! I was there at the epicentre of this great band. Great to see some old footage surfacing after all these years. It Bites are a cultural treasure box from peak performance prog era. They really did the gig, awesome songwriting and arrangement which was then translated effortlessly live. It Bites were the real deal, unfortunatley emerging at a time of great flux in the music industry.

Good job on the audio, sounds great for a live gig from 30 years ago. The first time I saw It Bites I was dragged along by my guitarist, with no iidea what to expect. I have never been so blown away. They became my favorite band fior about 5 years after that.

Still love it and it still Bites ! 💯🙏🏼🦴✌🏼 I've seen the boys in Tilburg in an old cinema without the chairs. The sound they had was mind-blowing, way better than this a little harsh sounding registration.
