The Pacers have been on a generational Mickey Mouse run. No hate but I mean damn. The Bucks were missing Giannis/Dame and the Knicks lord have mercy, Randle out, Hart with a strained knee, Mitchell Robinson knee stress injury, OG hamstring, Bojan Bogdonovic broken wrist and broken foot, now Brunson broken hand. Good lord help the Infirmary Knicks😂😂😂

@@ChupapiyayayaThe OP is just pointing out that a team doesn't often get that much luck from injuries during the playoffs. We'll discount Randle being out, since he was gone since January, but Mitchel and OG getting injured was seriously favorable for Indiana, because it left Hartenstein and Hart with the duty of crashing the boards and slugging it out with bodies everywhere. We don't have to state the impact that missing Dame & Giannis had on the previous series too. And, as loathe as I am to say anything good about Boston, Indiana is seriously mismatched against them. Holiday and Derick W are going to agitate those guards all night, leaving Brown & Tatum to roam freely on the other end. Siakim is good but him and Turner don't have the capacity to match up well with JT & JB. Not in a series.

@@user-jh9tq6rt8dthey did it early in the season..as yaw that the in season tournament was a fluke...players play when 750,000 are at stake..that showed me their mentality as a team..if LA'S REEVES wasnt wore down (coaches stupidity midway)..& Dlo stopped dissaperring..LA had leads but lbj & AD needed more help. So after Ind got over trading buddy held..Halliburton had to adjust...but they knew from the tournament what yhey had & kept winning..BOSTON'S next..its a great match up...MCCONNELL & JURE HOLIDAY are the keys..watch!!. My Pacers must be ready to deal with the refs as underdogs, & that crowd always get what they want.
In agree with Nick....no one can say definitively that Thibs allowing these guys to play so much contributed to their injuries.....But if your playing a lot then that's more wear and tear.

I was thinking the same thing the coach was over using Brunson & new he couldnt keep that energy since the 76ers win..& last 3gms I saw it..b/c my guy the tireless MCCONNELL..(our coach rested him at times for the last round vs NY) He literally wore Brunson down you msy get 30 but yaw gonna feel it..hes the only guy with the foot work & stay in front of him & the double was effective ...either give it up or keep dribbling & guess what imma still be in front of you..shorty..(thats they key b/c he dosent reg shoot over the top of his head its out & up.

Thibs is like the Kyle Shanahan of of the nba. But tbh the old school philosophy of pushing as hard as you can and getting every bit out of a player is to me the best way to build a great team for the playoffs. It can be costly with some bad luck as nick is alluding to, more time in the game the more chance to get hurt, but you can’t gameplan around bad luck imo. As for “over- worked injuries” I genuinely think there just needs to be more responsibility put on the players to be in the greatest shape you can be. I just don’t see how guys can be paid as professional athletes and a preposterous amount of money and not be the very peak version of their fitness. There’s a reason Tom Thib teams have a certain roster construction of players because he doesn’t tolerate guys who don’t take it as seriously as they can.

@@swish52621 Demar is not washed up, he has Knick DNA, underrated, tough in the same quiet way Brunson is, & he’d take the scoring pressure off of everybody else. There isn’t many people that fit in as a Knick, he’s the one guy that can upgrade this roster without taking away from it.
