I'm a bag maker myself, and this bag really impressed me! 😁
I think it could be modified to have a couple of pockets on the inside.

Thanks for watching!
Thanks so much for this tutorial. I followed along step by step and my bag turned out beautifully
Glad to hear it!
Love this one! Thank you.
Excellent tutorial; thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
LOOKING AT THIS VIDEO MAKES ME REALLY APPRECIATE THE FACT THAT THERE IS NO ONE WAY OF PUTTING TOGETHER A TOTE BAG.
Nice and easy to follow tutorial...but What is the finished size of the tote?
Love the flower tote. How or where can I get that fabric?
Hi Amy! So happy to hear you love the bag and fabric! Here is a link to the fabric we have left from the line! shop.quiltaddictsanonymous.com/?term=&s=curiouser+and+curiouser&post_type=product&taxonomy=product_cat
😮
I bought this pattern about a year or so ago and I have made a couple of them. I didn't follow your directions completely I would like to make another one use cork for the bottom and follow your directions. Am I understanding you correctly that you are using decovillle heavy for the lining also? I just remembered I have one of the kits with those cats. If I were to use cork on the bottom of that one what color would you suggest?
We use Decor bond to interface the outside and the inside. As far as the cork, I'm not sure which cat fabric you have but there are lots of colors to choose from. The best thing is to try out different colors and see what you like best. If you have a local store to you take your fabric to, that is ideal, but you can see what you like online as well and compare the product photos to your fabric.
What is cork fabric?
Beautiful shopping bag. Where can I get the pattern?
You can find the pattern on our website shop.quiltaddictsanonymous.com/product/tourist-tote-bag/
@@QuiltAddictsAnonymous sold out so it makes placement of handles useless with this video.
What material is best to make there bags?
We use quilting cotton reinforced with pellon decor bond and we also use cork fabric as well as canvas.
What r the measurements of the bag
Can I get the pattern for this bag?
Of course! The pattern can be found here: shop.quiltaddictsanonymous.com/product/tourist-tote-bag/
what are the measurements to this bag
Hello Joan, the measurements to the bag are 12″ high, by 7″ deep, by 18 1/2″ wide.
For beginners add measurements
The measurements are included in the pattern. The tutorial is meant to supplement the pattern, not replace it, and furthermore, by purchasing the pattern you support the designer who supports her family by writing patterns like this.

@@QuiltAddictsAnonymous when the designer marks the pattern as sold out, this video becomes redundant and useless
😢
Where are the measurements?
In the pattern. You have to purchase it to follow along with the tutorial.
Just cut like 20x20 squares X4. 2 main and 2 lining! Fold and sew! EASY PEASY! ❤
@@QuiltAddictsAnonymousRUDE!
The pattern is copyrighted. By law, she can't reveal the measurements. She isn't being rude.
No cutting instructions. I guess this is an ad
Hi there! This is a tutorial. Out of respect for the designer we didn't include the cutting instructions which are in the pattern. The pattern is available here: shop.quiltaddictsanonymous.com/product/tourist-tote-bag/
This video is useless, no measurements for fabric or handle sizes, or placement of handles. Apparently thr designer decided to not offer the pattern anymore, its marked sold out, but how do you sell out of a pattern that can be a pdf or another download form. I just unfollowed because I'm not going to waste my time again.
The Tourist Tote pattern is a very popular one and we will get more patterns in soon. We only carry it as a paper pattern and don't share the measurements so that folks can buy the pattern and support the designer.
@@QuiltAddictsAnonymous pretty hard to buy the pattern if it isnt available, isn't it?
