My best dart years were 2011-2014. Yes, my favorites are Paul Nicholson and Adrian Lewis. I miss them both very much, especially Paul. His style was always incredibly entertaining and I was always looking forward to his games 😃
I miss the others too, like Hamilton, Thornton, Walsh, Webster and so on. Unfortunately, this sport has lost more and more sympathy for me in recent years (van Gerwen, Wright and especially Price). That's why I really like this tournament here. Paul Nicholson will always be my favourite.
Have both of their darts, and they were/are both my favorite players too! Would love to see them come out of no where and kick the living fucking shit out of people again lol!
Why is Paul Nicholson so disliked? I have watched him interviewed and he does not lack for confidence, but a lot of the players I like, don't like him ?

Andrew, I'm wondering that too. During Paul's darts career, the only "conflict" he really had was with Phil Taylor. Well, it really wasn't that hard to piss Phil off. Otherwise Paul was always fair and friendly. He was never as disrespectful as Price or van Gerwen who gossip about others. He built up this "bad boy" image, but he didn't criticize anyone.
Although those who criticize Nicholson are generally not kind: Taylor, Deller. What else is there to say? There was something with Lewis (who also often has conflicts with others). Other nice players don't think badly of Paul either (Thornton, Stompe, Chisnall, Hamilton....). I like Paul as a player (it was a nice darts time) and as a commentator.
