Ooo YSL cinema is AMAZING! I bought it last summer, and it’s such a different experience in the winter. So much more consuming, yet fluffy, clean cashmere esc vanilla.
I used to wear vanilla fields and navy in school. I also remember this box set of “Loves” fragrances with Love baby soft, a rain scent, vanilla scent and a musk one I believe… Then bath and body works hit the scene and I was all into the country apple and freesia scent lol …ooo and juniper breeze. It’s funny how scents stay with us…

Hi Susan! They aren’t quite the same as the bigger one without the sprayer doesn’t have the cotton candy in it. The bigger bottle is closer to SDV than the Outremer. They are the same company though. One is just way older. ❤️
I fell in love with a sample of Guerlain Angelique Noire so I’m saving up for it! I also love Mon Guerlain Intense - it’s a vanilla patchouli to my nose ♥️
Midnight Shimmer has quince in it. My nose gets a woodsy tobacco vanilla. I luv it and usually vanilla perfumes make me feel sick. I cant even do Dior Addict. Its just too much for me. 🤗 but i luv M. Shimmer. 🤔

If you can, get the real Ani, because it's even a little bit better than both the Dua and the Alexandria dupes! Ani and Lune Feline are 2 of my all-times faves. I love a lot of these except I can't stand Choco Musk and Casmir. You're making me want Virgile. I just got Comptoir sud Pacifique's Vanille Extreme and even though it's a more simple, gourmand vanilla than my beloved woody and green vanillas, I really like it a lot. Also I love Guerlain Angelique Noir and Mancera Velvet Vanilla.

Sarah, you intrigued me with that lovely L'aromarine bottle so I Google it. It looks like you got your hands on a vintage bottle of Outremer Vanille! Outremer used to be called L'aromarine Senteur, from what I saw in photos and old listings on Amazon. They even had bottles in the square packaging just like the Outremer with the name "L'aromarine Senteur" Vanille on the label. I love that old bottle with the art work, what a find!
I love vanilla scents too. My fave is the one you mentioned fro Laura Mercier! I also just got KKW nude (looks like lips) for $40 and it's terrific (not as long lasting as Laura Mercier, however). It will definitely be a re-purchase for me. Have you tried that? Also, the Pink Sugar that everyone has is SO fun and so inexpensive!
I have read that if a sprayer straw/stick is dislodged or missing, to simply turn the fragrance upside down to spray. I haven’t tried it myself because I haven’t run in to this before, but it might be worth a shot. Love your channel. 😊
I thought I would see Lalique le Parfum here, given that you mostly like the house of Lalique and this perfume is lovely :). My most favorite vanilla so far is the iconic Serge Lutense Un Bois Vanille. I like my vanilla to be not gourmand but woody or flowery.

For anyone tired of waiting for the legendary Tihota by Indult to re-enter circulation (note: it started shipping from Paris on the 22nd of February after being unavailable globally for the last couple of years at least)...anyhow, if anyone can't wait and wants a thick, realistic, boozy vanilla paste kind of fragrance, one with no strong supporting notes to distract from the star of the show, which is really similar to Tihota but much easier to get and LESS EXPENSIVE then try Jovoy's beautiful 'Fire At Will'. Most vanillas disappoint me, often turning into that old flat cardboard 'Little Tree' car air freshener smell...y'know where you find it under the front car seat when valeting the car one Sunday afternoon. Creed's obnoxiously overpriced 'Sublime Vanille' COULD have smelled like the most magnificent, delicious lemon meringue pie you've ever smelled but instead it's citrus note merges with that dusty, flat vanilla and just smells...Little Tree. Initio's 'Absolute Aphrodisiac' is another great vanilla one to try if you really are NOT playin' when it comes to your vanilla. Gold Myrrh Absolute by Carolina Herrera Confidential is stunning too; a thick, delicious cloud of cocoa, vanilla and the most expensive, divine myrrh note in there. Unisex in the same way that Absolute Aphrodisiac strikes me. Thank you for this video. (PS= I'm also partial to the syrupy sweet, 'chicks at the mall' neo-gourmand 'Roses Vanille' by Mancera, I can't help it. It's a party starter and cheers me up every time I spray it.)

I’m super picky with my vanilla. I love Eau Duelle EDP, but I’m also looking for something like Loubirouge and Lune Feline that is sweet vanilla cardamom, unfortunately on me Loubirouge is gone too quickly and not very vanillic and then Lune Feline is just rubber (too much cardamom). Thoughts?
Have you tried Tihota? It’s lovely but doesn’t perform the best. If you could ever find it Giles Cantuel Vanilla is an amazing affordable spiced vanilla. ❤️
I am trying to find a perfume version of Kuumba Made Vanilla Bean it smells amazing with my body chemistry do you think Vanille Outremer would be a good choice or do you have a recommendation for me?
Hi there! That’s a hard one because Vanilla Bean is kind of unique. It has a slight muskiness to it that Outremer Vanille doesn’t have and the Outremer is also sweeter. If you like vanilla I can totally recommend OV but I don’t think it’s super similar to VB. I hope that helps! ❤️

I like the musky warm aspect of it not a fan of the sickeningly sweet vanillas that are like frosting. Any recommendations that have those aspects the warm cozy vanilla with musky aspect like the vanilla bean oil?

L’aromarine is outremer vanille. I believe that was the name of it before it changed to outremer. I haven’t found anything that says it’s discontinued so I hope not. They have tons on small flower. I ordered some and the oil:)
I did some more research because the name L’aromarine sounded familiar. It’s now called Outremer which is the company that makes the Vanille fragrance you want to use the bottle of once it runs out! The L’aromarine Senteurs Vanille is just a vintage bottle of Vanille. I suspect they may have changed the formula a bit to add in the cotton candy note. I would guess your bottle is one of the original bottles from the 80s.

Oh and I don’t like citrus with my vanilla or chocolate perfumes. Which limits me greatly.
