Husker Nation! From a Michigan fan Congrats! All it takes is one 5 star QB to spark change in an entire program. JJ MCCARTHY did it for us and now you guys have an elite QB to build around. The B10 conference is loaded
I've been waiting for our team to recruit a pocket passer ever since we switched our offense from the option. This is the first time our QB is more of a weapon with his arm and not his legs. 🥳
Go bring that national championship home to the B10. The conference is rooting for yall!
Now it's time for us to not let him down by not putting pieces around him and who knows maybe getting a high recruited player like this will get others to wanna join. All I know is the fanbase hasn't been this excited in years. This is Nebraskas highest rated recruit in the last 30 yrs. His uncle's the o-line coach too so I'm sure hes going to do his best to not get his nephew hurt behind a bad o-line.
@@zachschendt7201thanks bro!!! Happy for yall
A ton of respect to you guys and your season. Good luck in the playoffs.
I was very impressed by McCarthy in his game against us (NU) this year. Hope Raiola can do the same for us.
He never looks like he has to really cut loose on any of these throws and he's dropping 55-60 yard dots. Unreal.
@@sapreps6740 no, I'm good. You find it. I said nothing about that.
Once he goes thru progressions and checkdowns,he will be elite. The great teams will take the deep ball away and force him to play qb
In calling it right now Holla at me in 10 yrs this guy will be the goat.
He's good enough to be confident, and confident enough to be calm, and calm enough to be creative and have fun. I hope he finds the same kind of fun in college ball.
He has a gift! That cannon/sniper rifle arm of his. He makes everything look like he’s not even trying! Can’t wait to see him fight for a win at Nebraska ❤
Please God let Nebraska have this
Please please please! Damn It let us have this lol.
It actually happened
Nebraska is coming.
That release is a work of art
Bama fan here. I will never understand for the life of me, fans complaining that loyalty and parity has been lost in modern CFB, yet go on to criticize a talented kid who chooses to go to a rebuilding yet powerful program where he has deep family ties. I’m so excited to see Raiola and Rhule help return the Huskers to prominence. Nebraska football represents what’s good about college football. Like us, you’ve seen legendary dynasties and you’ve seen disparaging droughts, but you still hold football deep within the culture in Lincoln. Raiola is a special prospect, don’t let anyone tell you differently, and it’s so refreshing to see a kid pick family roots and follow his heart, not the money. Super stoked for the Huskers for the next few years. GBR and RTR
Hey from Nebraska back to the Tide, always ... always felt a spiritual connection between 2 programs who were so clean & good with the FB stuff, the Jerseys could BE that CLEAN & yet THAT "DOMINANT" (Big Red... Crimson Tide... nobody else ever gets those colors ... tha'ts Blue Blood status at it's finest). Raiola is that DUDE at QB. And Rhule is as good as advertised, fixing the coaching holes in the staff and REALLY making the Blackshirts the KEY FACE of his turnaround (if you can stop points, you can build up your team til you are confident to go get them ...Raiola, like Frazier & Crouch & GIll before him, seems to have the tools that suggest almost certain comfort as a Day 1 QB 1... and the ceiling on Raiola is just unlike any QB we've ever had, shoot any program has had .. Patrick Mahomes 2.0 & adding SERIOUS high end talent at key spots (QB-DE-WR - LB) both frosh AND in portal... good times ahead.
I’m so freaking happy
This dude starts day one against UTEP. Idc how old he is. He is already a better qb at 18 than 85% of college qb’s.
Hoping for the best. Would be an amazing addition. GBR!
He can definitely read a defense and know what the DB's/safeties are going to do. Technique looks great, throws it a little high or out of reach every now and then but solid overall otherwise. Hope we get this talented young man
man its shaping up to be a great xmas lol
The young man has all the tools. Strong arm, quick release, smooth throwing motion, accurate, excellent footwork. Man, are we lucky to have snagged Raiola!
Yo the juke on the d 4 minutes in was lit.
Facts . With the spin too
This is insane. If you watch the defense, they are crushing his offensive line. Everyone on the field feels like a college player. These players would crush the high school players in my state.
Hell of an observation. This dude literally looks like mahomes 2.0
Wow ! 🏈🏈🏈🏈
Always looking down the field for open receivers. Dang! Dang!
he always knows where he is vis a vis the line of scrimmage, that's crucial and impressive.
Come to Nebraska!!!
He can certainly handle pressure as he is getting it on every play 😮
I thought that, too. So (sadly) he should feel right at home with Nebraska. Well, to be fair, our o-line did improve a bit this year.
Just not the pressure of competition. Sure does move around a lot, and I'm not talking about on the field.
@SkersinTx Dylan isn't fast but he has the uncanny ability to feel the pocket and escape pressure. A strong running game will help him adjust early on...
What’s his record in 1 possession games 😂😂
The obvious things are obviously nice. But there are some little things I'm seeing that... I think I'm in love.
Best QB prospect I have ever seen on tape - he makes even the SILLIEST flows look easy, easy
He certainly had good receivers!
hope Rhule has a 10 win team in his 2nd year. year two under Rhule has always been outstanding. Baylor and Temple. finish in the top 25. maybe top 10. GO BIG RED !!!!!
Please. Bring us back. For the love of god.
Looking this good is a great credit to his O Line!! Has lots of time in pocket to read progressions and improvise. Maybe his O Line will follow him to Lincoln!
Maybe more credit to his wr that routinely got separation down field. Every other play he was throwing under pressure. Hell of a talent.
Pocket awareness, poise and decision making is off the charts for a highschool player. Hopefully N can continue to groom this young star into a elite college football player. He's already better than what they have..😏 now go get a WR and RB to help him out
He’s got a lot of natural ability and talent . If he just works on the hard stuff like footwork fundamentals and such things he’ll be great . Throws off back foot and off platform pretty much ever pass damn near . Can’t get away with that as much next level but the talent is no doubt there . Exceptional touch on his passes but I’d like to see him drive the ball more but I feel like he doesn’t have to because he’s so much better than his comp in high school !
Looks like the line play is pretty bad for him here forcing a lot of movement
Plays at 9:14 and 9:56 are what have been missing at Nebraska
This whole video is full of what we’ve been missing 🤷🏼♂️
He is the mobile version of Spencer Rattler. Effortless deep passes.
He looks Lethargic in the pocket and that won’t boil over well in this environment
Dylan can make all the throws just protect him give him time and we'll be on our way. A good running game won't hurt either ....GBR
I wasn't buying the hype last year and actualy convinced myself I liked the Danny Kaelin film better than the Riola film but then 2023 happened and now Riola looks like a young Big Ben to me with better feet, Kaelin looked really basic to me on film this year but Riola looks poised, in command, patient, great footwork, fleet of foot and I really hope we get him because he might be everything that we need at QB and have needed for 22 years.
If he commits, I can’t wait to see the WRs we get
Nope lol
@@tristanhiggins982he's gone man. Cope

He looks good I would like to see him hit more college level routes. Digs, Comebacks. He has a great deep ball, (all 5 star quarterbacks do) his movement in the pocket is good. He is tall which helps with vision. I don't like how much he relies on arm strength as opposed to timing. Timing will be extremely important at the next level. He is a solid High School Quarterback. My quarterback score on him is 8.9/10. Yes I know he is #1. I was a college quarterback and I can tell you the Star Rating system is not always the best. Josh Allen was a no star. He is really good so don't get mad because I don't agree with your opinion. If I could see some footage of him throwing college routes, specifically the 15-20 yard dig and the 18-21 yard comeback route, I would maybe push my ranking of him higher.
Kid has the best physical ability I’ve ever seen but can’t read a defense to save his life.
This kid has poise, he’s toying with the defenders. Also, gotta give credit to those receivers, they went and got some of those throws
Good music choice
GBR😎
Dom… you should have named him Cannon!!!
34 TDs to 0 picks.
1 int
Man from osu to Uga and now Nebraska
He kinda reminds me of Josh Allen
I hope he can thow in the wind
This is high school? it looks like college!
Neb. needed a foundation...
Didn’t see many slants, crossers or passes thrown on a line. Lots of touch passes though.
The boy loves that bootleg…
What I am seeing is a very mobile, athletic qusrterback who has a bunch of very good receivers. He would be an asset to any team, but he needs to have the tools.
So like any other quarterback that ever existed. Thanks for expert analysis.
@@stevemc75 Not really. Otherwise all the other quarterbacks would still be playing at Nebraska. The kid has an excellent arm; he appears to have good judgment. But without the receivers, he will struggle, just like any other quarterback. His highlights are excellent, but of course that's what they are.
Arm talent is freakish if he develops properly he’s going to be very good
Mahomes 2.0 if not better talent wise honestly ik he still haven’t played in the big leagues yet but this kid with the right development and coaching staff he will be one of the all time greats not expecting anything less than greatness from this kid greatest qb prospect of all time
I like the highlights … but what about the lowlights?
Second coming of John Elway.
This kid is definitely the closest thing I’ve seen to Patrick Mahomes yet that comparison comes up a lot for prospects but this might be one of the few that the comparison makes sense
I wouldn’t say that lol.
@@garetfowler6149 How so? Half the throws in this clip are throws I’ve seen Mahomes throw myself as a Chiefs fan.
Hey idk...im happy for shucker fans but he looks like every other highly rated qb....
yall bought a gem. but who is he gonna get on his team....
99 ovrall
Raiola is gonna make great plays, but his receivers are gonna have to catch
Can we please get him some birds (wr)
He’ll either be Patrick Maholmes or Johnny manziel lol
His uncle gota one year extension which means that Dylan has to start next season and if it's a disaster the will both leave
I want him to break that habit of lobbing it so much. I love how relaxed he is though
Is any one else seeing a little bit of a resemblance to how mahomes plays
A Nebraska quarterback that can throw the ball? I don't believe it...
Seems like alot of jump ball floaters. That won't work at the next level. Would like to see more accurate crossing routes and outs with some zip on the ball.
Please add more intense music to this video... LOL
Looks a little Mahomey
Baby mahomea
Giving me justin herbert vibes
Lol its carson beck. Hes #1 and sanders son
I am seeing a tendency to throw ACROSS his body. They better fix that.
I was hoping to see more speed/dual threat ability because we have no receivers. He's gonna take a lot of of coverage sacks
Pass the kool-aid
He appears to have a O line to block for him……
Lol did you watch the video
Thanks Huskers for taking this kid away from UGA. Dylan is hella talented. His arm is unreal, he has almost perfect mechanics already with quick decision making, great footwork, off platform ability, touch, anticipation, big frame, mobile, ball security, and can throw it 60 yards on a dime. Throwing one interception in a season in one of the toughest classifications in the country is no joke. I also like that’s he’s been at multiple high schools, as he’s had the chance to learn from many different schemes and teachers, including an elite HS program like Buford. You can tell from his interviews and his play that he has a great head on his shoulders. He puts in the work and has the family pedigree to back it up. I think this kid could put up numbers for the 3-4 years he will be a Husker, hell, I wouldn’t be suprised if he gets some heisman love at some point. He’s almost like a high school version of Mahomes to me with the way he throws the ball and makes plays. The biggest thing is, he’ll have the chance to be the catalyst of the momentum it will take to bring Nebraska football back to the top, kinda like how Julio Jones was at Alabama or how Trevor Lawrence was at Clemson.
The problems will surface the moment the coaches disagree with this family. 4 years of high school…..4 different schools.
Very gifted athlete but…………………I hope I am wrong.
He has family as a coach........
@@TheHuskerGeno meaning what, sir?
@robertmartin5308 it's pretty self explanatory.
@@TheHuskerGeno just asking what you mean, sorry clown if you don’t write clearly
i agree ..how many teams has he committed to then changed,,,, yall may have him for a year
Lol. His left and right tackles are bad. He'll adapt well at Nebraska 😂
Hopefully Georgia uses the kid and don’t let him walk in the transfer portal
This aged poorly..
Does he ever run? This year's O line wouldn't protect him enough to look that good at NE.
His line was atrocious lmao our line actually ranked in the upper half of ncaa football. Our QB play however ranked dead last
I hear a lot of talk about the line. I didn’t think they were as bad as people made them out to be. I went back and watched some of those games. Our QBs were honestly just THAT bad and our play calling too. The O Line can only do so much. I kept telling my wife the plays Nebraska would call on offense. She said “wow, you’re really good at this” and I said “not really. Nebraska is just that predictable.” It’s true though. You could quite literally have the best O Line and if the other team knows what you’re going to do next, they can stop you.
@@TH-sz9jrWhen 75% of our plays are running it up the middle, it's easy to guess.
I don’t see him looking off receivers, he better figure that out . He’ll be playing against grown men in the big 10
This is some high test koolaid. He would be running for his life with our O line.
Dude he is running for his life in every one of these plays lol
@@12speedfurd He should be ready to go!
Pat mahomes much stronger arm
Needs to work on his footwork
Mahomes 2.0
Quit begging Tommie Frazier and LP aren't coming out of tunnel
Bruh, they're like 50 now. No one wants them coming out of any tunnel lmao.
Yeah Osborne isn't around to hide criminal evidence of his players or continue to play players despite repeated arrests lmao
@@yaimcuddy And...how does this relate to current events nearly 30 years later? When literally no one on current staff was on then? Let's poke at a team for arrests and shenanigans 3 decades ago to determine worth now?
Are we going to start bashing Egypt for stuff they did 3000 years ago even though no one there now is even related?
Time to get with the times, bud.
@@yaimcuddy I can already picture someone with your perspective in the year 2744. "Remember 721 years ago when Michigan was stealing signs? Yeah they're poo."

He’s good but this is shitty music lol
Nebraska ditched their football program when they ditched 58-19 Solich & 67-27 Pelini. Nebraska is a Ladies Bowling & Ladies Volleyball School.
Did you think of that burn all by yourself?
Nebraska is definitely a football school… The coaching hires haven’t panned out lately but Rhule can do some things, as you can see here
Overrated
Got to witness this kid this past season. His school “Buford” right down the road from me. Not impressed.
Cool story bro.
Not really. We had high hopes.
This background music is awful.
You don't like Casio wet basement carpet Jazz?
It's loads better than most of the highlight videos I've seen. It was refreshing to me to have music without words for a highlight video. To each their own.
Dude is bad under pressure, good luck behind that online up there. Made a huge mistake Georgia/Ohio state and you go to a terrible Nebraska team …..hope he saves the NIL money
All the physical tools but hes going to have a ton of turnovers with that decision making. Got away with a lot of stuff that won't work in college
Nebraska is still gonna suck they won’t develop him right and they won’t know how to use him
I smell a salty Bulldogs fan.
