The fear that humans will be replaced by machines is not new.
There is a huge debate either AI generated images can be called art or that those tools are violating copyright laws, because the AI was trained on other artists work without their approval.
Either way, AI is here to stay and I am really curious how things will be in a few years, if AI will really take artists jobs or if we will have some laws that will clarify the AI generated images copyrights.
With or without AI, I will continue to create my art, because it's my passion and I love spending time doing it.
In today's video I will show you how I created this AI vs artist artwork.

I love the little extra details you added to give the image personality. I thought the pigeon was cute, but then you added the bird mess and that took it to another level. The clever addition of the image prompts also added to the message without hitting the viewer over the head. Subtle but impactful.
As far as AI goes, I'm more concerned about how it will be used to manipulate people into believing untrue things and to swindle them. I just read an article today about how with a microphone and AI that passwords can be stolen by analyzing keystrokes simply by listening to a person type.
Thanks Lee! I am happy that you like my artwork! I said on my Instagram a few times that I am not against AI, I think the technology is amazing, but I am against how people will chose to use it and the last thing you wrote scared me a lot, because I have the same fears. I see a lot of fake news/fake images that people believe in and it's getting harder and harder to distinguish a real photo/image from a fake one/AI. So that will be the real concern, manipulating masses, not that AI can make "art" or not.
I would say this is a revolutionary artwork! This artwork wouldn’t disappoint anybody rather it will encourage us to adapt at the same time polish our skills and challenge ourselves and later we can use A. I as a tool to “ icing the cake “.. fantastic depiction Mr23. ❤Different one ! and love the theme!

This is crazy! What an awesome and original idea, Valentin! You put so much effort in creating this. It is really inspiring! I love that there is a (kind of scary) story behind this work art. I realy believe that AI will never replace human creativity. A piece of art can be brilliant only if it expresses the artist's feelings. AI can never do that. It is only a tool that some artists will choose to use.
Hey Alexandra! Long time no see! Thank you for your kind words! I am not afraid of expressing myself anymore. I used to be afraid, I refrain myself from posting my art for so many years, but it really helps me to post what and how I feel. You're right, AI is a tool and in the future we all might use it to continue to create, but with just another tool. Who expects AI to do the entire work for them, they won't last.

I see AI as only another medium to create art. Some artists use clay, others a canvas and a brush, some of us photoshop. AI will find its niche but it will not 'take over' traditional art the same way other technologies add to the experience.
Things have evolved incredibly quickly in the past year. We need to wait and see.

How do you know when a piece is 'finished'? I've recently started on my photo manipulation journey and I'm finding it impossible to move onto starting new artwork because I always find little things I want to add/change on the existing piece. Often I end up making changes that look worse!
You just need to practice a lot, at some point you just know, because there are some steps to follow over and over, and when you finish those steps, you feel the end is near :))
