This intro has described exactly how i tailored the free plague deck i got from the newbie track in hearthstone. Same plagues, some bord controle, some excavate and bord removal. Made it to plate so far from bronze and still going up. Super fun. I like how the plages give options and extra pressure ontop of playing well and making the right choices. Super fun.
Pool is an absolute blast. It’s so crazy how good some of the old school people are. Brut I guess that’s what they did for a hobby so they mastered it.
The only good plague DK I've come across is one where Helya is your highest cost minion and you try to draw her with Taelan Fordring. You cannot win without her very easily. You can just put aggressive minions in it and spells like army of the dead and you still have your late game value with the headless horseman
This deck is demoralising to play because a lot of the time you're waiting for your opponent to just draw their OTK. I think a control deck needs a way to play when attrition is bad.

there was the higlander paladin that consisted of using the mirage to have infinite ogres was shown by chump if i'm not mistaken can you create something like this for the current meta ? i thought the idea was fun and interesting
I wanted to make this deck (or similar BBU) work a few days ago but havent had much success, dont know if now its better now maybe, I think the meta should chnage a bit more though
I’ve had much better success running BUU control, no Reno. Reno has no place in Standard without Steam Cleaner, imo. Also, Horseman is so good, playing Reno on top of it just destroys any benefit of running Horseman. That being said, I stopped playing anything but Nature Shaman. It’s too much fun destroying boards and faces while still being at 30 health.
My guess is it's like regular plague and your only way to win is slamming every plague card after they destroy their deck, it's still probably unfavored
U usually struggle to remove the Board because they Play too many big Minions before you have the Mana for removal or they wheel and you have to pray you have helia

Yup. I had a nature shaman on the ropes. But he just managed to avoid my plagues and otk me, without a flash of lightning 😓

I replaced Paw & maw with harth, I mean that card can go anywhere, it's such a fun card

Save Helya and other plague cards for after they play Wheel and you'll be fine.

Problem is, it loses to combo OTK decks
Loses vs every deck but aggro if you draw your anti aggro early
The druid should have won if you didn't cheat
