We put a few drops of dawn dish soap in all of our trucks' windshield washer reservoirs. It helps a lot in getting bug 🐛 guts off.
Thank you for this tip, here in Florida we have “Love bugs” and when they hit the windshield it takes forever to clean the windshield. I bet Dawn would help getting the bugs off the front of the car.

Local coop sprayed one round on an alfalfa field before realizing wrong field. I tried to find out what they sprayed. It killed dandelions but no damage to hay, grass entire year.
I’ll put it over here so later when I’m looking for it I won’t be able to find it -- omg how many times have I done that!!

The process of changing from Corn to Soybean Chemical , starts at the tender truck, then to the Sprayer. At no time should Chemicals be disposed on the ground, the Rinceate deluted. Should be applied to like fields.

The bugs are not just in Iowa. I was driving through farmland in California last Spring and my car was covered in bugs like I have never experienced before! I think it is all the crops that attract them.
Don't feel too bad my grandad killed off a whole field when he was 50 or 60 plus. Dad had gone for a long weekend with my siblings and mum (before me) when he came back he was immediately reprimanded by his dad for growing a field of docks that he had to go get spray and deal with it. It nearly brought my dad to tears as they weren't docks they were rather expensive chicory he had grown to flatten the animals on.

I love your story you made me laugh I can tell you something you had a good dad and it’s funny the old days so fun I used to work for my grandfather. Every time I see him I live in New York. He live in Massachusetts. And hard see my grandfather I’m working all the time at my work we make saltwater to be sprayed on the road or on the salt as you dumping it in there assault gets on top of the salt and it breaks up the snow ice so much faster it works it works
