This Adbhut, Amazing. Simply Great. He is a guru of Indian Martial Art. Proud of you Sir.
PROUD OF YOU SIR for embracing & show casing the world & our youth our beautiful culture & sanatan vidya ❤️🕉️🙏
ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਾ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕੀ ਫ਼ਤਿਹ 🙏
Can you show how to work with distance with of weapons, please? We have probably slightly different aproach in HEMA, yet I can clearly recognize some of those principles and little bit more detailed explanation will be really awesome.
Step for step, breath for breath, gesture for gesture, this is all nearly identical to what is taught in aikido. An art that's maybe a tenth as old as what you're describing here. Much of my understanding of Aikido comes from swordsmanship and the, "cutting," of attack angles. Since your arts are also informed by swordsmanship, I guess these are just the lessons of cutting. As a testament to the universality of techniques such as positioning, entering and blending/merging with your attacker, I swear I that even use the same principals in numerous video games. Love your videos, glad to see more of them, this stuff is like crack to me. =)
You know right many of the martial arts travelled via 2 routes from India to Japan?
One via China and one via South East Asia. So, there is bound to be similarity.
But glad to read that the integrity of techniques are maintained to the extent you have mentioned.
The Chapt(pounce), or Dhai(Surge) in Shastarvidiya is called Shukuchi in Japanese. I'm pretty sure it is a knowledge that travelled from India to Japan. I'm not sure if Japanese martial arts have preserved Shukuchi the way it originally was, but it would be nice if they did.
It doesn't matter where it comes from. People are proud of this and that country... Who cares. What matters is whether you can do it. The same problem exists with this method as with aikido. Why would you take a degree in maths before you've got your 12-plus, let alone GCSE, A-level, etc.? Makes no sense. The only people who can use this are fighters. People who are used to fighting and being in fights. But this is being taught as a foundational skill. Madness.
@@rupertbollywood1190 I think Nidar Singh said that the basics are pretty easy to learn - Khulah Pentra and Mool Pentra.
@@anantasheshanaga3666 I understand what you're saying, but it's still back to the same old problem. If you take a modern student of martial arts, with athletic talent and good temperament, and teach him aikido, he can learn all of it perfectly given enough time and training. That isn't in doubt. Take that as example 1. Now take Mike Tyson and teach him the same thing. Example 2. Now take an 18th century professional warrior (any culture) and teach him exactly the same aikido. Example 3. All 3 results will be different. Mike Tyson will be equipped with some amazing new abilities to slip, evade, reposition, and will be able to use them in a fistfight immediately. The 18th century warrior who learned weapons from childhood and took part in skirmishes will be promoted to a master of weapons who can now teach others. But the first guy will be a hopeless fighter. This is not a reflection on aikido (let's say all 3 passed the highest level in aikido) but a reflection on the results you can get being dependent on the student.
Nice flavor of martial arts for sure. Thank you Sir
I have seen Judoka with muscles like a strongman.
It depends upon how hard a person practices and what are the rules of fighting.
श्री गुरू देव always so wonderful!! 🙏🏻
very good understanding of body mechanics, range management and footwork
Speed, intensity, and evasive maneuvers
I like to try this based on how comfortable the outfit look
I'm skeptical; I'd like to see this demonstrated against someone showing active resistance, even just 1 year of wrestling/boxing experience.
He'll get lamped out by anyone with any boxing training or double legged by anyone with any grappling
It is basic understanding of human physiology. We will get a to point where we see more evidence of conditioned fighters using these techniques en masse in self defense or military/LE applications. It isn't very practical or efficient to just punch and kick everyone to death in many situations.
These martial arts have been tried and tested in on battlefield. For wrestling and boxing, there are separate versions known as mushtikala (art of fists) and kushti (wrestling)
You are definitely right. These are all just theory base unless demonstrated in a a stress test environment. This is why all the tradition Chinese martial arts fail today because it's base on interpretation and theory, you do this then I do that...which nvr really translate to effective self defense.
I'm not seeing nothing that isn't used in many arts.
First off pulling off moves other then punching or tackling requires training.
Please come to Washington DC Guruji.
Nice teaching sir. Am feeling interesting
Khalsa ji tuse dhan ho
Another compliance sparring. Like most traditional martial arts.
Just another tool to add your skill level.....nothing like having options.....and better to u derstand distance, timming and body mechics.

Who founded this fighting system and did they leave any written documents of their art?

this Saint has all the information
आदी शिव Aadi Shiv
They didn't leave to the world. They have on the world
It more resembles a series of ways-of-winning (or simply not dying) that might have been passed down by survivors of battles. There are historical accounts written by others (Mughals, etc.) describing some of the techniques seen here.
Its tactics used by many wrestlers against punchers. Can work and can not: 50/50
It's extremely relevant in an actual fight. Sikhs are known as the most courageous warriors in the world throughout history. And they use this martial art. British warriors ran away when Afghan warriors invaded. But it was Sikhs, that too 21 Sikhs who fought against 10,000 Afghan warriors. They killed 600 warriors and held the army untill the reinforcements came. Bring any boxer, MMA athlete from any weight division infront of Nihang Sikhs, they will eat the athletes alive.
@@phoenixj1299 its all bout polémicas.we are talking about fight mechanics or Bout individual fighting Spirit?
Going straight for the crotch, brilliant
Where can I master this martial art
There will probably be an app out next year. It will cover the basics and beginning. The rest can only be learned in person with the master.
🙏 thanks you.
You will not be able to achieve this

Genuinely curious.
Guruji Parnaam. With all humility may I know why is the vidya being given to non-Sanatanis?
What would be the reason not to do so according to you?

Quero ver esse aí contra um lutador de MMA e Jiu Jitsu brasileiro
MMA or BJJ fighter would win against this guy or his students (unless they're cross training MMA), but it's probably a style that's obscure enough that it's hard to find students who want full contact sparring. Hard to tell if the style would hold up if it was taught with fighters going 100% in fights regularly.
@@zebanon5 quite often, most "styles" fly out the window when a real fight takes place. Usually, the art of Survival-Chin-Do takes over body mechanics.
looks cool af but has a lot of if you do this... IIll just do this this and this like Trad MA in the 80s.
Mestre charlatão. Queria ver em um combate real.
Unarmed combat…. Head spike lol
I don't Wana bash but using the term kill zone. Has a lot of American "expert martial arts guru". Sound to it
It's a weapons art, that's why.
Great technique against the opponent who does nothing and just stands there and waiting for his ass to be kicked
In a real combat the circumstances are much different. The use of shown techniques have very littke use.
real combat now use guns but there were swords spikes and other weapons before
Give discourses in Punjabi.
We have seen this in many traditional martial arts before. The proof is in the pudding, not demonstrating on one of your own students but against one who fights back resists and believes in himself. It is like talking tactics in a battle but not actually demonstrating it in real life.
Those are not his students. They are experienced martial artists from other arts.
@@anantasheshanaga3666 😂😂😂
Most traditional martial arts are meant to have people dedicated their lives to learning them. That’s neither practical, nor advisable, in the modern day. They’re interesting to look at, but they’re antiquated due to how long it takes to become proficient in them

Это цирк?
Maybe or probably effective. But my question is why are you attacking this guy? Since he is not attacking you and 15 feet away, there is not danger. You have just committed assualt an illegal and immoral action. I assume this is not a conflict between two soldiers and if even a police action the attack against an unarmed civilian was not necessary. This attitude about conflict is boyish nonsense.
It's a martial art that originated as a battlefield art for warriors, hence the emphasis on harming another person. Today, it's about preserving culture and heritage.
Too bad if the other person throws a kick
Fake... dont work in real situation..
They humor these guys way too much.
thats not real martial arts

Bulshit!
Wouldn't last a minute with an amateur mma practitioner.
An MMA practitioner wouldn't last a second on a battlefield with bladed weapons, which is first and foremost where this art excels.
