Queen - Some Day One Day (Official Lyric Video)
/ queenofficial - Hudba
I love all Queen songs, but the ones they wrote in the 70's had such a magical quality
truth
Especially Brian May's
the period of the 70th was the best. pure queen. from 80 in forward everything was shit and commercial
Specially, this one. It's perfect
@@juanharocorbera1577 Queen has never done even one shit song.... Everything they did was perfect. Not liking a style of music they included in some albums, like Hot Space having the disco style songs, is not the same , and was their biggest(only) commercial flop. But had Queen listened to others instead of themselves, many of the greatest songs of all time never would have happened and we wouldn't still be honoring them today
I love Brian's songs.
I love Freddie's songs.
I love John's songs.
I love Roger's songs.

One of many criminally underrated Queen songs
30 procent hits rest 70 procent is underrated
@@justynawojcicka5344 fact
İ have underrated the song..am i gonna be jailed? :(
How do you gauge how this song is underrated?
How is it possible to love EVERY song from a band?🤷🏼♀️😱🎸🤟🏻⚡️
Mrs Fahrenheit because it’s queen duh
Anna Jackson yeah u just answered my rhetorical questions 💁🏼♀️🎸♥️⚡️
Not many bands you can say that about!
Mrs Fahrenheit actually I did that for two bands (pink floyd and queen)
I'm about with you on this... hard to find fault with the Floyd - although obviously we all have our preferences... with Queen - fan since teenage years - and I mean a LONG time ago -- again, can't say I hate anything, but fell off a bit in the '80's - so even though I could sing every note and knew every lyric in my sleep from the first albums... I am now surprised at how much I actually am still able to discover from the 80's... for instance: "Break-thru" and "Scandal" - both of which I love.. especially the videos on both.. I think I gave up a little too early on my first love(s) :)
A classic Brian song. Melancholy and bittersweet. Hopeful, mesmerizing.
holy snap your name xD
That tracks perfectly
CS Lewis was clearly an inspiration for Brian and I think Freddie too, especially when you listen to tracks like this, White Queen and Father to son, they’re so atmospheric and evocative.. beautiful I saw these live in Liverpool in the seventies and they are one of the great 70s rock giants.
I think the inspiration for many of Brian May’s early songs (esp. Queen 2) were from CS Lewis’s chronicles of Narnia as he lists CS Lewis as his favourite author.
La original está es hermosa.....y la de Soda en su adaptación y voz de nuestro querido Gus.....impecable
I really appreciate the gorgeous pictures of Brian to accompany this amazing song
Made me swoon all over again... :)
He's adorable
Brian's angelic voice is absolutely mesmerizing. Perfect song!
The Queen2 album is simply a masterpiece. The lyrics are stunning and the compositions are breath taking.
I agree. It is still my favorite.
3 great vocalists in one band with such sonic diversity 🎶 🎸
Queen can still make an album with May on vocals.
Chris Nirvana i wouldn’t complain about that
With May and Taylor, Rogers lead vocals in Rock It (Prime Jive) Tenement Funster, I'm in love with my car etc is amazing.
No.
Even through that would be amazing in would not be the same without Freddie and John
Right!!!
Ahh, I love Brian's voice in this song
My Beginning as Queenie:
I discovered Brian's voice in the Intro of "Who Wants To Live Forever", but first I just listened it and thought - "how different is Freddie's voice here". Sooo... after that, I watched the videoclip .... AND I ALMOST FAINTED! From this I started to search for more and I found his "To Much Love Will Kill You" version and other solo songs. ONLY NOW I'm getting in to the 70's Queen albuns AND I'M FREAKING OUT HERE WITH THIS SONG! I LOVE SO MUCH BRIAN'S VOICE AS I LOVE ROGER'S. I can't decide who is the 2nd or 3th, because they are very different IMO so, I love their voice equally.
I'd go with Roger third and Brian second. Roger has a good voice but I'm not the greatest fan of his vocal style compared to the others. Brian has a lovely warm voice, could listen to him all day.
+Adam Hodgkinson I'd agree. I think it also has to do with the style of song. Brian always sings the folksy songs that are very easy listening. Roger on the other hand has more of an alt-rock style
OMG YES hahahah, i also thought his voice was Freddie's! Brian is such a genius i love his songs, i'm a 70's queen lover.
To an extent, you aren't wrong. Brian feels like a more soft and quite Freddie.
I also enjoy Brian's voice on Queen songs, but I think Roger has more raw vocal talent than anyone in the band. Listen to his amazing background "wailing" in the song "In the Lap of the Gods". I also like his voice better on more raw rock songs like "Loser in the End". I think his talent was a bit underutilized in the band.
Brian’s vocals are so good...
This is one of my most favorite of Queen songs. I love the way they looked in early days, early albums were so unique & richly textured magical songs.
Brian May hell, Brian will.
Yeah - Brian did.
@@GinMae Brian does
Brian May or May not
Brian perhaps
Brian could, or not
Brian's voice is like a summer breeze in may.
I've uncovered another Queen gem :D
Brian’s soft, delicate vocals illustrate a dreamy scene. Although I love all eras of Queen, 70s will always be the most magical.
The guitars are amazing on this. All''s missing is Sandy Denny on backing vocals.

There is this grand spectacle sometimes when it comes to their writing and the overall music. Like "Ogre Battle" and "March of the Black Queen." It's kind of medieval, you know the middle ages.
You’re right it does sound medevil
He is actually a great singer. Very underrated. I love this song and also "Another World." That is an even better song of his as well.
This album is a masterpiece
Not many young boys in there early twenties like these guys were at that time that can make such mature solid musical 🎶 perfection such as this and make it stick forty years later talent oozed out of this band plain and simple.
Brian Millar AINT THAT THE TRUTH. THEY HOOKED ME AT AGE 7 WITH KEEP YOURSELF ALIVE. DONE DEAL
They are geniuses. I mean, to have a scholarship for dentistry? That's hard. Brian is a astrophysicist and frieddie learned arts, John learned electronics. Well, they're basically smart guys.
True that!!!!! No one can compare!!! Classical/Rock/Musical Theater! Amazing!
Hareka Tysiri they’re a group of 4 nerds and I love that so much😂
At the time this song was released Brian, Roger, and Freddie were all in their late 20s... John was the only one in his early 20s at ~23.
Queen II really was a magical, ethereal album. There's nothing else quite like it in Queen's lineup.
Yes. Great album on list of albums must listen to before you die. Long love rock and roll and Queen💯🎸🎼👍
Such a regal sound, so full of majesty. A stately message to the lyrics, and a beautiful blend of instrumental swell. One of my favorite Queen songs.

One day I set about listening to whole Queen discography, album by album chronologically. I got stuck on first three albums I kept listening to repeatedly. Hidden gems, hiding behind their (equally great) more popular later works.
I have a whole playlist of about 300 songs, including their solo careers and a few bands they were in before smile/queen :) they're not in order though. you can listen to it if you'd like ❤
the first part is literally me rn, i WILL. listen to every song and every album, i listened to a night at opera and im half way throguh queen 2
That guitar solo , oh man, the thing just sings. So beautiful the sound it produces.
Queen was always good, in any genre they did. They had smash hits in the 70's and hidden gems like this one. Some people say Queen lost it after the 70's, that is not true. They had huge its in the 80's like Another One Bites The Dust, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Play The Game, One Vision, I Want to Break Free, Hammer to Fall, Radio Ga Ga, I Want it All and Under Pressure. Queen even kicked off the 90's with great songs like Too Much Love Will Kill You, These Are The Days of Our Lives, and the famous Show Must Go On. All these songs are second to none, Queen is definitely one of the greatest bands of all time.
Classic.....a track played to almost destruction back in the summer of '75.....a masterpiece
This song always gives me such a warm and fuzzy feeling inside. Thank you for making such an amazing song, Queen! (Brian in particular.)

Also I when I was listening to the song it reminded me a bit of 'The Night Comes Down' it just has that same quality to it
Yes, '70s Queen is its own wonderful journey. Listen to the full albums, if you can.
Yes, I just recently realised the similarity between the two songs and wish there was a version of Brian singing "The Night Comes Down". Would have been his type of song. I guess it was just not yet considered on the first album that he could take a lead vocal.
Amazing queen

great music by a great band. The sound is good in HD.
I could listen to Brian's voice for days and days on repeat...
This is a freakin masterpiece. thank you for putting this up.
Some Day One Day someone forgot John Deacon in the description
He doesn't want to be there
John never wanted to be a "rock star" - even though he wrote several of their most successful "hits" -- the one that always sticks with me is "You're my Best Friend" - he was a family man... and if my husband had written that for me, I would be in heaven.. I haven't followed him, but I betcha he's still with his wife and they maybe even have a passel of grandkids... :)
Katka Drnková 💁🏾♀️ Doesn't matter...he should STILL be credited as he'd played on the recording. That'll be like them not crediting Freddie cause he's dead. Deacy should be included.
@@Motown-1966 Yes, I agree! they absolutely should include John Deacon's name in the credits!

En modo WTF??
You ever heard a man singing so beautifully you started to cry??
My King May ❤ I have a lot of good memories with this song and all the songs of this album.
The Queen members enjoyed putting on their first album that nobody played synthesizers. I myself have always enjoyed playing synthesizers in my own projects and when I play with bands, but I definitely understand that these guys were in search of a form of respect which they easily deserved.
Another act which I really enjoy listening to, Boston, also had a policy of no synthesizers. As with Queen, Boston lifted that policy after a fashion. When the day is over, it is about what you decide you need or want, in order to make the best music you can.
Synthesizers are OK, in fact I Loved Them, if they're subtlety used, like The Who, McCartney and Elton did back in the 70s. But They were Overused in the 80s, Big Time.
Happy 74, dear Brian!!!!
Sounds george harrison-ish
Oh yeah :) indeed...
Correct. The chorus even sounds like Beatles
@@mickelimbo May is a declared Beatles fan

This way of saying in the lyrics that you are making a song as if you were talking to the listener, is very reminiscent of Harrison's Only Northern Song.
While I love Brian May's voice, I still think that Roger Taylor is the best second singer for the band. He possesses an almost operatic falsetto which he uses even while he's playing the drums.
Queen songs had meaning. You just have to listen.
