Hi everyone! This is my unboxing and review of the AHASTYLE Silicone Sleeve for the Apple Pencil 2 of my 2020 iPad Pro 12.9". It's basically a sleeve that you slip over the Apple Pencil. What I like about it is that it gives the Apple Pencil the look of an actual pencil, so it's more for aesthetics than anything else. It does not add girth to the Apple Pencil because the silicone material is so thin.

Glad to be of help! When it's time to put the silicone sleeve on to the Apple Pencil, don't make the mistake that I did. You can see that I was struggling to get the sleeve over the pencil, when in fact there was an easy way to do it. Look at the sleeve carefully; it actually is shaped with the flat side of the Apple Pencil in mind. Make sure to match that shape to pencil during initial fitting and the sleeve should slide easier. Hope that helps and thanks for checking out the video!

@@luisalawrence992 Hi there! I feel your pain because the first time I tried it, it truly was hard to put the sleeve on. However, in their CZcams video AHASTYLE pointed out that you have to match/align the flat side of the Apple Pencil 2 with the flat side of the silicone sleeve. If you look closely, the silicone sleeve actually follows the cross section shape of the Apple Pencil 2, that is, there is also a portion of it that is flat. If you match these at the beginning, then the Apple Pencil 2 will slide into the silicone sleeve easily. There may be some resistance once there's only a quarter of so to go, but just loosen your grip and don't hold it too tight and it should slide in easily. Good luck, hope that helps!

No, the silicone sleeve does not loosen up after a few days. The one on my Apple Pencil2 fits snug a the first day. It will move up and down the length of the pencil once in a while, mainly due to the pressure from the fingers when writing, depending on how tight one holds the pencil when writing or drawing, but it can easily be adjusted.

I never had that problem. Have you tried removing the silicone sleeve first, then attaching the Apple Pencil2 to its charging spot on the side of the iPad Pro? Make sure the iPad Pro is connected to power and is charging. If the Apple Pencil2 is not recharging even without the sleeve on, then it might be a defective pencil. If it is showing that it is charging, then you can try putting back the sleeve on and check again if it is recharging when reattached to the charging spot. Make sure the pencil is magnetically attaching correctly as well. Hope that helps.
