Noise really isn't that bad, especially compared to a downtown apartment. It doesn't bother me! and you aren't as isolated as you might think. You have a really short walk to your classes as well and it doesn't take too long to get downtown either! Hope this help, let me know if you have any more questions!

They started renovation in 2016. This specific unit got renovated in 2018

redhound73 you have to walk down to the Nittany community center! Depending on where you are living in Nittany Apartments it is not too far of a walk !

YES! It was wonderful to have that but even on the hottest days... it doesn't work the best... Get a fan, trust me
