Fun video! Thanks for sharing both film stocks. Definitely interesting to see the results. And. Whenever I'm back in NorCal I too seek out the Great White.
Great video! I love that you captured the requisite banana slug so commonly found in the redwoods. Really enjoyed seeing the comparison between Ektar and Portra, seems to me that the redwoods are a good environment for both. I’m not really a fan of how Ektar renders the sky so “the woods” make for a nice backdrop. Looking forward to seeing more adventures!
Thanks Mike! I have had a few instances as well where I wasn't completely happy with my results using Ektar under a more open sky. It definitely serves a great purpose for landscapes and compositions such as these.
Grand stuff! Love Ektar, not just because it rhymes with Reptar...lol. I enjoyed your thoughts on shooting such scenes from a lighting/exposure perspective.
Thanks Patrick! I’m really convinced that Ektar was the right choice for the trip. With that being said I would have been curious to try transparency film and b&w as well.
@@thechriswilson I use a homemade setup. I’m able to the film boarders by using a cheap cut out mousepad that I place directly on top of a Kaiser light pad.
Great video Bren. You’re really knocking it out of the park at the moment. Great work. 👏🏼
I appreciate it! I should have a few more videos coming out soon 👍
Good stuff! Shooting in the redwoods looks awesome! Love the one of the person on the fallen tree!
Thanks Gus!
I'm all in on the film and craft beer content! Great vid!
There'll be more to come. Cheers!
another great one! I love Ektar 100 on 120 and 35mm
Thanks Jaden!
Love your vids. Definitely my favourite photography content on this platform

Worm from planet Dune 🙂
Haha exactly 😉
What did you use to scan yr images? thanks!
I use a mirrorless camera setup and then I convert using Negative Lab Pro. I use the classic copy stand style setup
@@ExpiredBren Awesome! I love the images and I love including the borders of the film in the scan. Is there a particular holder that you like?
