All pretty good but Melody from Liliac is outstanding. . 1.000.000 thanks for that. But their original songs are even better.
If liliac would of been around in the 80's they would of been at the top of rock scene and made millions.

Liliac lead singer Melody is a natural her voice is the tops for me. She has the WOW factor.
That’s because she is the only one with a true rock voice. The others are very good singers, but lack the grit and gravel in Melody’s voice. She is a natural rock singer, like Ann Wilson, Janis Joplin and Grace Slick and other rock legends.
A voice for rock must have some balls to it. Lots of power and distortion and Melody has all of that. It’s like she has a massive store of testosterone in her larynx and nowhere else, because she still seems very feminine, until she starts to sing, then it’s pure adrenaline and testosterone.
If she is managed right , she could, be huge. All of the siblings are super talented, but Melody is on another level, she’s a Star with the X-Factor, the Y-Factor and the Z-Factor. She is a rock goddess already and she’s not even 18 or has just recently become 18, I’m not sure. She’s already taken the Internet by storm just in the last couple years, so she has a lot more to give and an audience base waiting for more.

Melody is by far one of, if not the best female vocalist of all time. Pure raw real sound. I'm in love with liliac. And mel is so beautiful

Crazy train girl is one of kind, simply amazing. In fact, are they all really playing ? Some of them seem really young (10-13 yo). Do they really play that level of professionalism. If so, they are absolutely great, even if it is a bit weird to see children play Ozzy's !

Melody's voice is much better than all the other singers, She has that rock voice like no other singer of the past decade. Liliac and melody are the #1 singer and band in my book.

Nothing here but GOOD MUSIC! By a very slight margin, Liliac's Melody Cristea gets my top rating, but the fact is that every single one of these performances is a real winner.
In fact, all the Cristeas are absolutely talented.
Abi is like a reincarnations Of Sandy West. And Melody sings far better than any Runaway ever did. I wish Liliac did a Queens of Noise cover, but the boys might object.

Melody of Liliac band has a killer rock voice. The others are too sweet and gentle to even be considered under rock. They also didn’t possess any power to their voice. I think that made a huge difference. If they would listen to Cristina Scabbia, for example, they could get a better sense of where they can take their ‘pretty’ voices and make them solid rock vocals.
It's 2023, and I still agree with your statement! I just don't hear any POWER in the vast majority of these female voices who attempt to do so! But MELODY CRISTEA has that capability most definitely! And she dose it very well!

One rock singer, Melody. Probably the most amazing voice in rock right now. The first 4 had the typical whiny soft and melodic voices most girls that age can develop. Nothing near rock. Pavoratti covering a rock song doesn’t make him a rock singer. Just remember title this “female singers that sing good, and a rock goddess at the end”
The first one (Charlotte Wessels of Delain) is the victim of song selection. She has a very strong and powerful voice, no, she doesn't grind like a lot of metal singers, but she has a very powerful voice when the song requires it,m and has the most unique and powerful vibrato.
I love Melodies voice, She is definitely the best up and comer, and better than a lot of veteran singers, but I have a hard time taking a list seriously that puts any of these singers above Floor Jansen of Nightwish, Brittney Slayes of Unleash the Archers, or Simone Simons of Epica.
A more fair comparison would be among wailers or grinders. Even then, with singers like Brittney Slayes, Nitte Valo (Battle Beast) Noora Louhimo (Battle Beast), she has a ways to go.
I am still a die hard Liliac fan, and Love Melodie's voice, and think that in a few years she has the potential to be unbeatable. I just think she still needs a bit more experience and practice to rate with some of the veterans out there.
Charlotte from Delian is amazing. Just some of their songs tend to go more pop rock.
Melody from Liliac on the other hand is phenomenal.
If you want to check out another female fronted band check out Vandroya, I can’t remember the name of the singer but the band are prog metal and are something special.
They all are talented but Liliac rules.

I had the true joy of seeing and HEARING Melody Cristea and Liliac live in Westland, MI, in October 2019. Hard to believe she is only 17 (16 when this recording was made). She is going to be a SUPERSTAR! And she is a bad ass bass player too!
The moment they announce they are coming to Europe I will be immediately buying my ticket. It doesn't even need to be in country I live.
All are excellent vocalists. But Melody, the minute you hear her voice it grabs your attention, it's so unique. She's what 16 here and she sounds so much older.
Melody Cristea's my favourite too, but the other four are also excellent. Of course a great rock singer can have a delicate voice. Sharon den Adel proved that.

Melody from Lilliac is the only stand out ROCK singer. The girl that did "Zombie" by the Cranberries was pretty solid. The rest sounding like country singers trying to do a rock cross over and missing the mark entirely.

Well, all I can say is I followed one link. Lillac and Melody Cristea. The rest were good, but that's the one that got me to buy. Marvin, thanks for taking the time to link everything, it's really a help and the main reason I subscribed to your channel.

Justin and Ethan are too young for really being evaluated by their skills, but Melody, Abigail and Samuel are already world class musicians in the heavy metal genre. It is just a matter of time for the success to catch up with their talents.

You're missing one very talented and passionate female vocalist...Dani Villareal from The Warning! She really rocks it and plays lead guitar in an exceptional band with her two sisters. And BTW, they can all sing lead on various original songs. The Warning!!!
I listen to THE WARNING as well as LILIAC, BUT IT SEEMS TO ME THE Warning Music PRETTY MUCH SOUNDS THE SAME, LIKE IT ALL COMES OUT OF THE SAME BOX, I WONDER IF THEY ARE LIMITED BY THE RECORD LABELS CONTROL! AS FOR LILIAC, THEY HAVE COMPLETE CONTROL AS TO WHAT THEY CHOSE TO EITHER COVER OR PRODUCE ORIGINALLY BEING INDEPENDENT! JUST AN OBSERVATION!
Liliac while they are young they have been at it for some time and to me they are nothing short of supernatural .
To be fair the only female in this video that is actually sing Rock is Melody Cristea from LILIAC.

Amy Le-Bearden : Interesting that you said that because these kids being so young and understanding how and are capable of performing at a professional level ! and to be gifted to do it is amazing I seen them live last summer in my hometown and hung out with them a little bit and talk to them and their dad, I’m just all in on these kids and melody is way better singer than these other 4 no disrespect to them but this girl is on a level of her own and she’s 18 wow!

Not even close. If the job is ROCK singer, Melody is by far the better if not the only choice. Some of the others might be better in a worship band or light pop / country. But for Rock singing, Melody is the clear choice. For hard rock/metal, she becomes the only choice here.
Imo I don't know how you can compare her to anybody, shes in a league of her own, absolutely incredible, never heard anything like it

Very few women out there can believably pull off singing rock. Sometimes a Joan Jett comes along or Ann Wilson but rarely. Then along comes Melody Christea. That girl is born to sing rock. No wonder she was picked top female metal vocalist. She was born to rock.

Sadly Melody as a teenager here still blew them all out of the water and she's only gotten better!
I am going to piss off a lot of people, but this list is very unrealistic, and like comparing apples to oranges. I absolutely love the vocals of Charlotte Wessels and Melody Cristeas, But Wessels is the only refined veteran on the list, and without considering singers like Brittney Slayes (Unleash the Archers), Floor Jansen (Nightwish), Simone Simons (Epica), and a few others I can think of.
I do love screamers, and Melody Cristeas is definitely one of the best, but she still has some growing to do before she can compete with screamers like Nitte Valo or Noora Louhimo (Battle Beast, past and present), and her range is not yet up there with Brittney Slayes, but I'm sure that with a little more experience and hard work, she can get there in a few years.
Of this list of singers, having listened to the full repertoire of Delain, I have to go with Charlotte, one of the strongest clean singers I know, and she has the most unique and powerful vibrato I have ever heard in that range.
I love that there are new rock bands out there keeping rock and metal music alive instead of this candy ass twinkle music that is on the radio today...but melody out performs all these other women...im not saying the bbn others are bad, cause they good in their own right...but melody brings it to a higher level...another young female singer not on the list that has a very unique voice is in the group iron cross...give her a listen...

Search for Rockmina and Zaritskaya, they much more better then what you've selected here. Except Melody, which is really outstanding.
I think lilac Melody is the top one ,,,Her voice,,,, No one can come even close to by any other singer today that has not made it big yet . she has been given a real gift, she is old time rock in today world... The only reason they have not made it big yet is there originals are not that good...They need help Writing and making new music . To teenybopper sound to it there original's wont make it in today's or yesterdays music in what they need to figure out how to combine that, People are still waiting for that great song that make people sing it all day
Totally disagree - their originals are great. People who have others write their songs never will get that "blow you out of the chair" effect like liliac can bring.

YES to "their originals are great". It takes time for independent artists, as they are not being pushed by the "big" industry to become widespreadedly famous.
