*** FIN // ”Helsinki Live" on Tuulettaren kesällä 2021 lanseeraama akustisten livevideoiden julkaisusarja. Uusi video julkaistaan joka toinen perjantai. Julkaisusarjaa on ollut rahoittamassa Helsingin kaupunki.
Sarjan kolmannella videolla kuullaan Tuulettaren versio virolaisesta laulusta 'Meie elu'. Laulu tuli Tuulettaren ohjelmistoon virolaisen jazzlaulaja/säveltäjä/sovittaja Karmen Rõivasseppin kautta, joka opetti laulun vuonna 2015 kollegalleen Venla Ilona Blomille heidän Århusin (Tanska) duokeikkaansa varten. Blom on tämän jälkeen opettanut laulua eri versioina monille kuoroille ja tänä vuonna laulu löysi paikkansa myös Tuulettaren ohjelmistosta.
Tuulettarelle laulu kertoo maailman näkemisestä lapsen silmin, avoimesti ja uteliaasti. Tapa jota voisimme vaalia läpi elämän.

*** ENG // ”Helsinki Live" is a series of acoustic live videos from Finnish vocal band Tuuletar. New video every second Friday. The making of this series has been funded by the city of Helsinki. The third video in the series features Tuuletar's version of the Estonian song 'Meie elu'.
The song came to Tuuletar's repertoire through Estonian jazz singer / composer / arranger Karmen Rõivassepp, who in 2015 taught the song to her colleague Venla Ilona Blom for their duo concert in Århus (Denmark). Blom has since taught the song in different versions for many choirs and this year the song also found its place in Tuuletar's repertoire.
For Tuuletar, the song tells about seeing the world through the eyes of a child, openly and curiously. A way we could cherish throughout our life.
The video was filmed and recorded at Kääntöpöytä (Dodo ry), Helsinki, Finland.

I love all your performances, but "Meie elu" is special to me because you sing in estonian. This song became well known here in Estonia after childrens movie "Kevade" (Spring, 1969).
