I was cut short by some unexpected rain, but was able to get all the sunflower and winter sowing seedlings in the ground. And on the last day of April!
I think the rain came because your body needed some rest! Lots of work you did and I appreciate knowing about planting sunflowers closer for possible smaller blooms. Keep up the great work. Your plants look more than amazing and healthy!
All your seedlings look fabulous! I have many of the same flowers growing!! I had moved in February and it's been difficult to build beds before I can plant the rest of my seedlings! I suppose the 1st cut on Euphorbia "Snow on the Mountain" would then branch out more? I believe that it gets bushy? Have you grown any before??
You’ve had much to do with moving and preparing a new space to plant!! I’m going to look up whether or not I should pinch snow on the mountain. Thank you for the suggestion!!
I’m growing the Crackerjack and Phyllis marigolds from Botanical Interest, Chedi orange and yellow from GeoSeed, and White Swan from Johny’s. All of these are taller varieties for cut flowers.

Thank you Mom!

Are you using the marigolds as cut flowers and if so did you have to buy a special kind or normal marigolds
