Yankee doodle is actually a very good theme to use in a variation. It's recognizable, simple, and has great harmonic movement. As hard as these variations are, they're still great!

@@aubertducharmont imo the ending of yankee doodle is harder than the entirety of 24, after having tried both (and failing miserably at the yankee doodle). Still haven't gotten to the coda of 24 though so we'll see

@@ryzikx makes sense, since yankee doodle is just the same ol' chords repeated again and again. Bravura is way more complex
