EVERYONE with a PC, this DOES NOT WORK with Premiere Pro with Audio Timecode. Hi Source1 video... I Imported exactly what you have, one file TC and one Audio TC and it does NOT sync the footage with Premiere Pro. You don't mention that you need a mac for premiere pro syn to work. This video will confuse a lot of people. WIthout the tentacle syn app, PremPro can NOT know the audio timecode from the tentacle sync device.

That's great if you Use A MAC! (Not every one does...) Tentacle Sync does not support Windows with there studio software.

How do you avoid DaVinci mutlicam cuts from switching the audio channels when I cut to the respective camera? In other words I only want the one master audio channel instead of having it switch every time I cut to camera 2.

Great vid! Would you happen to know the best xml settings in tentacle sync studio app to use in davinci resolve?
I seem to get audio channels on different tracks when importing xml into davinci. Thanks!

Thank you for helping us mere mortals!!! For me, the sync by timecode option doesn't work when using the tentacles. Im using PR 22 (latest).
I can easily sync with tencacle but the problem is that I can't make proxies once the XML file is there. Any help will be greatly appreciated

So it appears that you don't need to use Tentacle Sync Studio to bring the clips into Resolve and get them aligned correctly. Is that correct?

Thanks for the video. I wish my attempts to do the same thing worked in precisely the same way. Using Premiere Pro 2020, when you get to 03:00 mins in your video, you get a nice timeline with two cams and two lots of audio, all on separate tracks. When I do the same XML import into my app, I get one combined audio track and one video track (labelled 'SyncMap' by Tentacle Studio) - despite having three sync groups set up (CAM-A, CAM-B and VOX). I'm sure there's a basic step I'm missing here but I think I've tried every option available and always get the same result. Appreciate any help you can give. Thanks.

I'm having the same exact issue, Were you able to figure out what a solution?

@@connorhawkins Hey Connor. If I remember correctly, Tentacle Sync exports all of your data in a folder structure. I was importing my original files, plus the XML file on its own. What I needed to do was import the whole thing that came out of TS, because the XML was looking for files within the structure it had created. When I did this, it worked pretty well, even if my Bin folders in Premiere Pro weren't as tidy as I like them to be. HTH. Richard

@@TrickyDickyBE I'll have to give that a try today. Thanks Richard!

I think you need to click the button "Include synced clips" when exporting the XML from TS... I happen to be working on something right now and it has worked fine for me.

@@TrickyDickyBE Are you utilizing multi cam editing in premiere? that's really where my issue is. I've been able to get everything on the timeline synced up (4 cameras, audio mix down, timecode) but for some reason when I try to create a multicam sequence it ends up only showing me 1 camera and creating a weird timeline clip that's 4 times the length of the actual footage all together. Really strange.
