  • D. Gukesh won the Candidates 2024 in April and took a couple of months off Classical chess. He is now back on the board at the Superbet Chess Classic in Romania. He took on the last seed of the event Bogdan-Daniel Deac with the white pieces. Check out the battle along with the analysis by IM Sagar Shah.

@@Anonymous-8080 gukesh plays like this when he is facing sub 2700 to complicate the position , if you will see with engine the moves that his opponent had to find was super difficult . gukesh has particular style that is high risk chess when he choose not to play solid like candidates.

Its always a delight being a gukesh fan , he always delivers a good and interesting game to follow. In every move there is something that is interesting . whethere he win or not he always shows up and plays interesting chess. Most other youngsters are also like this only . No one plays a quick draw that is why they are good to watch .

Deac is always keen to look at the pieces from his opponent's view, hence he tends to stand up and look at the board from what Gukesh sees. Now the real race is Pragg vs Arjun vs Gukesh as to who touches 2800 first🥰🥰🥰🥰
