  • Many farmers lack training in forage production and access to improved seed varieties. The quality of forage is low and forage is not sufficiently available year-round, and as a result dairy productivity is very low. The Kenya Nourishing Prosperity Alliance is providing training for growing nutrient-dense and sufficient quantity of a variety of forages, and here interviews a participating farmer at Elburgon Dairy Cooperative in Kenya.
