The thing about the mcb being forced and butchered in...im with you on that..../ should,nt fit it...but where phyical dimensions match . height depth projection etc...and electrilly is like for like...there would,nt be a problam..But i take your point..../ manufacturers want you to buy their products ONLY
It's a shame some pros are willing to do a shoddy job. Ultimately the customer determines the quality of the job based on how much they're willing to pay..
Id have walked and quoted for a re-wire personally. The reason these guys get away with it time and time again is because no one reports them. It's the British way to get shafted and do nothing about it i'm afraid.
Problem is even when you do the regulators don't care either... or dodgy dave's given fake details. If they're not giving out certs for work done then they clearly don't care or aren't certified.
