The goblin was severely damaged in the movie, if this is the original goblin, I'm impressed. Last I heard, the guy who owned the goblin was working to rebuild the green goblin truck but it was taking time. Edit**This is not the original head but I am even more impressed that they hand built this replica. Beautiful job.

This movie was bad ass and so many great scenes. The soda machine, electric knife, arcade. My favorite scene is where all the vehicles show up though, and he tells them he is out of gas. This truck and the army jeep were my favorite vehicles in it. I even had a small crush on the actress with the funny voice.

I saw maximum overdrive when I was a little kid. Granted this was 30 years after the movie came out. And while I loved it. It made scared of big rigs. I wouldn't walk around the front of one without watching it in case it came to life for like 5-7 years. But the goblin truck was always so fascinating to me. A big black loud truck with a goblin face on the front? Who in their right mind thinks that's a great children's product right? That thing delivers toys? Haha. The sound was always one of the best parts of the truck. It was just so menacing.

My dad showed me this movie when i was about 3 and its one of the very few things we can actually bond over. We have a rocky history but this is one that we can always go back on and talk about. I remember seeing the original Goblin head be remade a few years ago and i thought that was the best we'd have, but to see this truck come back to life and be recreated like this is absolutely overwhelming for me and has brought so much joy to my heart. I just want to say thank you guys for putting in all this hard work in such a short time. Ride on!

*I AM the biggest Maximum Overdrive fan.*
For over 20 years, I had a friend who lived in Wilmington NC. Every time we drove from Raleigh NC to Wilmington, I would purposely go out of my way to drive by the lot where the "Dixie Boy Truck Stop" was built for the movie. My wife is originally from Germany and had never seen it. I didn't tell her too much detail other than 'There was a movie filmed there'.. then we watched the movie and she _lost her mind._ She said "We will NEVER go by that place again!" I said, "OK, we'll go by Wrightsville Beach then go through town." Then when we were on the drawbridge, I told her "This is the drawbridge in the opening scene of the movie" She screamed so loud my ear rang for 10 minutes straight.... totally worth it. Her parents thought the whole idea was pretty funny.

Might be a late reaction but this movie idc what anybody says maximum overdrive is one of the best movies I've ever watched I've watched this movie a good 10 to 15 times a month I would very much love a picture of this if you have any left even if they aren't signed by the actors in the movie I would enjoy a nice pic of happy toys semi on my wall very good job at bringing back a classic vehicle 💯💯💯💯💯

I'm a huge fan of the movie because at the time it was made (I was 16) my Grandpa was a life long trucker and big trucks always fascinated me. I later became a driver myself

Is he touring to Wisconsin this summer because I would love to get a picture with this truck and I'm a huge maximum overdrive fan due to my parents getting me into Stephen king things and my dad getting me into loving these older trucks that have a sense of imagination for movies and looks.

I was very young when I first saw a clip of this movie truck and it scared the heck outta me. (Dad didn’t let me see the bodies, but i got to see the trucks). I still get a chill when I see the movie. Love it, great work!

I'm a big fan because it was my first Stephen king movie I ever watched. The soundtrack for that movie is awesome, and that truck is amazing. That distinct Detroit sound on top of the green goblin face wrapped up in a toy truck what's not to love. Unless you're facing it as it's coming at you. Also, I wore out 6 VHS tapes untill I finally got a DVD.

I saw this at my neighbors house. There are two sounds i remember, the music score when people get killed, and the distinct sound of the happy toyz truck. Wont lie i would probably hide if i saw this thing on the road.
