This collection was just absolutely insane! That is an awesome find . I collect a lot of pokémon cards myself. I'm on the original car collector from back when it first dropped so I have a lot of vintage cars myself. Like I have the original three sets complete with each card that can be holographic is holographic and then I have a complete set of gym hero and gym challenge and now I'm working on team rocket and 151 to complete And with the team rocket set I have the mass majority of the holographics for it. So I'm mostly missing the comments in like three or four holographics and then I have a bunch of other miscellaneous cards. They're holographic that collect like Charizard, Mewtwo, and mew, Lugia just to name a few.

Whoever sold the those 151 collection boxes should have held them for way longer. Not a huge fan of the set personally but I understand the value
I don't like special sets TBH but I only wanted the accessories from the collection boxes such as the dice and the playmat because I play the TCG as well as collecting it

What i dont understand is how do you make money in dealing with cards other than the youtube content? How do you decide what to keep, what to sell, what to trade, etc? Like where do the profits come from?

I bought that mewtwo promo in a cgc 8 a few months back and have been having conflicted reports on comps for it. Collectr and eBay recent sales very different in prices. I pc Mewtwo so the money difference doesn’t matter but thought it was cool to see you had gotten one as well.

So my older sister who was collecting Pokémon cards right when they were coming out, still has all of them and it’s a bunch of definitely bulk vintage first gen first edition, still a couple holos and a couple rares. Tonnnsss of starters but you know kids played with them so the quality isn’t as great. But is it still something we should start researching and learning more or should we just give them away to good will or a kiddo who wants to start playing or collecting
