Look for other E.W. virtual choir pieces on here by doing a search for his name + virtual choir. Merry Christmas!
Hmm, this is the first one of his virtual endeavors which sounds almost too good to be true. I say this because I've heard the practice version which sounds all too close to this. I hope I'm wrong on what I think about the audio :/
Beautiful piece of music, but the sound quality in this is abysmal. Constant hiss; _way_ too much stereo separation; AGC turning the gain up-and-down dramatically every few seconds, destroying the dynamics; and very bad signal-to-noise ratio. Basically, a $1,000,000 song recorded on a $9.95 recorder. Couldn't you have used better equipment?
This gives a pretty authentic experience of hearing/seeing it in the park. The hiss is from the water fountains that they project the video onto. The stereo separation comes from the sound delay of standing between speakers (they are playing it across the the entire park waterfront, which is a huge area). Even with better equipment, I don’t think there’s much that can be done to fix the issues that you listed with this recording. There are other recordings of the track itself on CZcams that can easily be found, search for “Glow” by Eric Whitacre to find them.
@@DrumlineArchives camera mics definitely pale in comparison to standing in the middle of the mix and hearing it live. But hey, people who can’t visit the park can see it now, as well as the members of the honor choir~ Best alternative is to pull up the track on Spotify, mute this video and sync them
Eric, you really enrichen the world with your enlightened music. Thank you so much.
You rock Eric Whitacre!! My daughter's beautiful voice has become part of this UNIVERSE along with 1000's more! Chills!
Perfection of creativity! Now i understand why God Created us in His own Image, according to His Likeness.
This song always destroys me such beauty.
So beautiful how can I become a part of this virtual choir?

Metssinger302 This was also one where NOT everyone was selected for the final track- just FYI :)
This was an audition only honor choir, so that may be part of it.
