    The big disc thingy aand the 2 dozers with the chain seemed the most efficient in my opinion.

    The stump puller is pretty good but those packery thinks (big drums with blades) are a waste of time. This thing pulled by the timberjack at about 8:10 defies me to guess it's purpose.

      Yeah I thought about that one myself and I came to the conclusion it's like a big shovel for planting new trees. Cause it's digging out evenly spaced holes in rows. My guess is they plant trees in by hand in the holes it leaves.

    If they would have done it in Michigan around the Mid 1900's, there would not have been the largest brush fire in the history of Michigan

    Does anyone know who the manufacturer of this disc harrow for Komatsu 155 is? similar to ROME however they don't have one on the site.

    Those rolling things at the first seem useless..waist of fuel pulling it around.

      If I seen the one you saw, being dragged behind big CAT, then yes it is made for land clearing, I think Caterpillar Company makes one I know of.

    Couldn't the farmer's till the groud and leave the small bush/trees for wildlife and cover,probably took years to grow but smashed in seconds.
    I wonder how land becomes a desert.....!

    The attachment with the two triangle shaped devices @ 7:40? What the heck is it supposed to do? Cause it barely dug up the ground. Seems useless. (just my observation)

      I was thinking the same but if you look closely it's dropping something in front of the tire. Still have no idea though. The three disk thing looks even more useless.....

      A roller chopper it’s good they have to clear brush somehow I want to go back to The old way where we take two big dozers and use a chain and just go right for the brush and destroy so much stuff

      tigercat 480B are Expensive a used one cost $300,00 or you can buy a 1980 D-8 dozer for $45,00 and a roller chopper $10,00

      They really work I had a place covered in complete brush so I called a guy would have a dozer and roller chopper and he completely clearer out of the area it really works amazingly
