I take issue with the use of the term "literary". It's a book, but it's definitely not "literature." He "authored" a book, but he is not an "author." Haven't you heard? Anyone can write a book and get it published these days. There should be some critical thought about the veracity of what was written, who actually wrote/edited the opus, and the nature of the target audience. He had a brush with venture capitalism, and authorship, but it smacks of political propaganda...the same type as any politician puts out right before they throw their hats in the ring. His book has more spine than he does.

The newer folks simply had 2x as much education and experience and worked 5x as hard. This wasn't an issue when the ruling crowd were in charge because they only interviewed their buddies and cronies, and provided their performance evaluations too. Pretty good deal! This wasn't everyone.... there were some awesome white male colleagues too. .
