- Chris Hemsworth is still cringing over the disappointing reception of Marvel's 'Thor: Love and Thunder.' The actor looked back on the 2022 Marvel movie in a new profile in Vanity Fair saying, "I got caught up in the improv and the wackiness, and I became a parody of myself. I didn't stick the landing."

Even though some people didn't like it, I still think Thor the Dark World is underrated
it's hilarious that the same director made the last Thor movie ( Thor : Ragnarok ) it was very well balanced movie, enjoyable & repeatable. How did he loose the magic with this one but i liked, it wasn't that bad at all.
It was 8th highest grossing movie worldwide with $772M ( 2nd as a thor film )

It was Endgame where he destroyed Thor. The Hollywood ego strokers told him he was a brilliant comedian and he believed them and insisted Thor become the comic relief.
I just tried watching it for the second time yesterday and it really isn't an enjoyable movie. There was so much potential for powerful pathos and still keeping some humor in, but for whatever reason, Waititi wanted it to be a light-minded film.

The Potential of the film was abundant, and I believe it can redeem itself with a proper and professional director but the mixture of goofiness and inappropriate content of the film didn't make its landing. From Zeus suggesting an 0rgy to Thor to Thor leading children into battle is too cringe.
