I did some shopping on Aliexpress and the result was not too bad.

I think the rest of the foam (the placebo bit specifically) was more to keep the expanding piece from sticking too hard to the gpu and such which I have had happen before
Yeah that is what I thought too. I have had one expand down to the board and get punctured by some of pins of the headers (front panel, audio, usb, fan etc).
It's to protect the fans I reckon. I'd give the dispatch dept a plus 1 for going that bit extra and protecting the plug in cards.
@@darthwiizius exactly
It's probably to try and prevent the expanding foam's bag from breaking during the expanding process. Because if that happens it sprays foam everywhere, and results in at least the case and motherboard if not other components.
@@darthwiizius Yeah. I've seen that too and I'm honestly surprised to see it here.
‘The fans have a greater risk of choking than a 3 year old in a Lego Factory’
-Dawid 2023
He said Lego not Legos as he's a good boy.
I wonder how many 3 year old children choked in a Lego factory before they had to start denying them access.
He missed an opportunity to make a David Carradine joke. Talk about choking...

It is a classic of the genre!
The "it's too dark I cant see anything, the video game" had me dying lmao
Maybe It's his monitor or something ? I had no problems seeing in Re4 Remake.
@@Gatorade69 Are your monitor and game brightness settings cranked way high? I love RE4, but it is an annoyingly dark game.
😂same here. He doesn't like dat "too dark" game, does he?..😂😂
Me too! Are we getting old?
@@charlesbrown4483 RE4 Remake is way darker than it should be.
For a pre-built, especially at that price, and considering where you bought it, I'm actually quite impressed. Not bad at all, probably better than equivalent spec Alienware.
but you could build one yourself for less than half the price
@@nostrum6410 Indeed, but pre-builts have always been a rip off. As pre-built goes through, especially considering where purchased it's actually impressive, for what it is. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't buy it, but lots of clueless non enthusiast types that this wouldn't be a complete let down.
@@nostrum6410 also no proprietary stuff in there, actual upgrade potential down the line. I'd take this all day long over a Alienware, and better thermals, just overall like a real computer.
@@zefrog7482 sure a rip off, but being able to build something that will double your frame rate is a bit much
@@nostrum6410 totally get what you are saying, but the majority of people aren't enthusiast's, so they are going to pay the price, they won't even be aware of the performance hit as to the majority a computer is like a toaster, lol, just does what it does.😂
Dawid needs to remind us to enable XMP more often

The top fans are usually used as an exhaust and I don't understand why you would change them round to be intake fans. I'm sure the front fanse are doing a good enough job at doing that.
Front fans probably aren't moving much air with that glass panel in the front.
@@Gatorade69In that case the configuration shipped was better as a negative pressure setup, like how the older NZXT cases worked.
That’s a pretty good unboxing experience for $800.
G'day Anna,
🤔So is your Pre-Built Storage bigger than your home yet?😂
Ps pass on some Snuggles for Neko please 😺🥰 & you both need to do another video with Dawid
I'm quite sure they have a storage building the size of a small country by now. Not criticism, I'm actually in awe of their commitment to preserving prebuilt pc history!
Dawid and Aliexpress are a deadly video combo!
Hello Dawid!
There was a purpose of that foam under the GPU: placing it there prevents the bag from expanding around, and engulfing, the cables running under it.
These kind of videos are totally my dirty pleasure. Love it!
It's always interesting to see these, there is so much quality variance. I am a bit surprised you managed to do one this early in the year though given their usual shipping times.
It's refreshing to see new games added to your tests.
I love watching these videos. Inspired me to build my own pc, still stuck with a 1660 but looking to upgrade it to a 4070 soon. Keep making great content!
I love your vids man
I learned a lot about computers form you, thanks man
if you want to check a different airflow direction , reverse the back fan too, and do the same with the three at the front to make them exaust
Really enjoy ya content from the U.K. mate . Thanks
I enjoyed that bit of graphics card Flex while you were removing the foam.
You should try moving the front fans inside the case to see if temps improve under load. It would make it easier for those fans to pull in air through those side slats.
I tend to go for lots of intake (front and top) to draw lots of fresh air for parts, and some minimal exhaust - this keeps the static pressure pretty high too - but each config has its pros/cons
Hey Dawid, could you switch the Afterburner graph from framerate to frametime ? I think that's more interesting to see, and more representative of the actual frame pacing.
I have helped a few friends with temp issues on this type of no-front-cool-air issue (A.K.A. a "this case sucks" situation) by taking the top fan towards the front and using it to pull air in then the rear top fan to push air out. Just a thought for future testing. Thanks Big D.
Nice, you got an actually useable system this time
Dawid you have helped me so much, I highly appreciate your work, Thanks bro
Love your videos, keep 'em coming. I was kinda rooting for the little guy, because I'm rocking the same video card in my MEGA E-PEEN GAMING PC. :D
Looking forward to seeing this system enter the Deathmatch Arena of Death against Best Buy's contender.
Pleasantly surprised this time. Good job SI and goob job for the great video!
I believe the Placebo foam is there so the expanding foam doesn't break components as it expands. Just guessing though
its not only about the performance, its also about the aftersales, ease to access the aftersales, warranty and shipping protection.
Dawid!!! Mount the front panel fans on the inside of the frame, rather than the outside. This effectively moves them 2.5 cm away from the front glass and maximizes the benefit of vent slots. Then show us how much cooler it gets!
Kirkland brand memory, priceless!
I enjoy a lot your accent! Great video as always!
I've actually lost interest in buying machines for last few years but your amazing wit and humour keeps me watching these vids ❤
I never knew Costco made RAM!
This is excellent news for those of us who need computer parts at the same time as an 80 gallon jug of mayonnaise.
Your videos never disappoint. Keep it up!!
It's simple really. David posts a video while I work on Saturday morning, and I watch it immediately.
Super fun video as usual, I'm always here for the sarcasm, just about as much as the PC. Would love to see another ridiculous case build from the depths of the internet.
most likely the best top fans setup is the one nearer the front pulls in and the one at the back blows out. and have them as separated as possible.
A thing you should consider on am4 cpu is that enabling pbo always helps, esplecially when cpu bound
i always look forward to dawids hillarious videos
I was interested to see what the top fan switcheroo would do. I have a similar arrangement in my build, originally had the top fans as exhausts, I mean heat rises right? My switcheroo also lowered RAM (2nd stick in the wind shadow of the stick benefitting from front fan airflow) and VRM's. My case benefits from a better design for airflow generally but I was still surprised to get better temps using the top fans as intakes.
Bro i'v just literally finished cooking my noodles i was looking for something to watch and wondered if you uploaded somthing interesting, you're video literally bobed in the screen , i think iam falling in love 😘
The 4500 is actually quite a decent budget chip. 6C 12T and AM4 drop in. The stock cooler as you show here with a thermally constrained case is good enough. The other thing about them is the power draw is exactly what you would expect, quite decent. An all rounder in the low end for a good price. A full eco system for it to run in and on. IIRC the 4600G is the same or close enough anyway and adds in the iGPU missing with the 4500 and is all you need for a nice quite low end desktop basic home computer that will do the usual things people want to do with a low end computer.
im actually more impressed in the fact that your pre built arrived in a box with good condition and no damage to the pc at all.
With a front mesh case, temps will improve even more.
Every time I watch one of these videos, I have an uncontrollable desire to find a need for some Linux cloud computing services. I just can't explain it...
Same. Who can't be impressed by all the features offered by Lenode
When you dropped the pc out of the box and showed the first somewhat front view of it, I thought they sent you a speaker. Thought you would have fun with that!
You must so many chimera PC builds that shouldn't be alive, but somehow they just won't die. Always interesting to watch though!
Loved the video! Make more 😮
I still use a 2060S, it's fine at 1080P.
Its fairly comparable to the rtx 3060
@@pureidiocracy1636
Yeah, it's holding up quite well.
Had one since launch and its held up well pretty comparable to a 3060 in the majority of cases. You can even 1440p some older games as well.
@@garycollumbell1396
Yeah, it's still good for 1440P on most stuff pre-Cyberpunk. I often use DLDSR to sharpen up the image on older games and I pick the 1440P base resolution to downscale to 1080P from.
a little surprise for the integrity of the shipping box...after shipping from China to Canada. btw, the power supply brand is 1st Player, price in china is around $35, pretty low end stuff...
I reckon you could've gone top intake and front exhaust. The GPU blows it's exhaust towards the front anyhow so that should have made it cooler. With too many intakes the hot air doesn't get evacuated fast enough, so it just gets pushed around into the heatsinks.
I got some thermal probes in front of my GPU fans a while back, and going from one exhaust fan(rear) to two(rear and top rear) dropped the air temp at the rear intake fan from 17C over ambient to about 5C over, and this is all with cardboard ducting around the card to separate the intake from the exhaust as much as possible.
I've been feeling really low today, I'm 1:57 in and already smiling. Even the sponsor ad made me smile, TY for being Dawid...... err Dawid
the PSU brand is 1stPlayer, the DK.number is the model
I’m amazed you were able to remove the PSU with an ordinary screwdriver.
The Linodeos are back and here to stay baby lesgooooo!!!
Another video adjusting the fan positions and removing the front panel restriction would be good. How to fix a prebuilt etc
good old Aliexpress, you never fail to surprise us
Love when Dawid opens up a craptacular pre-built!
I think that PC looks and performs very well for its price range and it was packed very nicely and came with two memory sticks. I can’t fault it, really. I’m not a fan of RGB, but I didn’t hate how those fans looked, either. A bonus that they were quiet in operation, as well.
funny i watched your previous aliexpress gaming pc rebuild video yesterday
What do you do with all this stuff after the video is made?! I just picture a warehouse full of the stuff 😂
That's a pretty ok prebuild. The additional foam stop the expanding one getting too close into the gpu.
Also top fans ALLWAYS exhaust bc hot air rises. Basics😉
Sure u can build it cheaper by yourself its definitly good priced for one who have no clue on how to build a pc.
I like that there are good prebuild aliexpress builds out
1st player PSU was popular in asia market. I own 1 that has SFX 650W 80+ Gold Full Modular. It come with 7 years warranty
They have that brand case in the UK as well, I've only used the cheap ones but they're good value
I hear a new form of VD comes in each Aliexpress order
Kirkland brand ram really got me.. 😂😂😂😂 well played sir
Hell yeah. Another AliExpress gaming pc video
Glad CP22077 fancy car is back in the mix. Sorely needed.
Test it with that glass panel off the front. Bet the temps get a lot better.
Do you test the PC and turn it on before you open up any panels and pull things out like the power supply? I feel like if you do not then you could be fixing things unintentionally that were wrong with it before like that cord that was up against the GPU.
I love these so much. My anti tracking/ad block stuff breaks Aliexpress so I have to live through you instead.
hey Dawid, what watch do you have? :) great video as always!
3:05 huh , you want exhaust at the top. Intake bottom or side
i love this kind of contents from you! i live in the philippines and they buy their stocks in aliexpress then sell it for a ridiculous price lol
There goes that dawid doing tech stuff.
1st Player is a cool brand, had one of the gaming mice since 2015 lol.
Wow trying some new games for benchmarking now!
Very surprised, not bad for that price.
Aside from the front (gigabyte) and side panels, the case template looks like the raijintek silenos case.. wish David showed the front Fan install to confirm the template there as well
I'm impressed by this little system. For fun, could you overclock it and see if you can get a more stable 60 in Last of us?
What a difference a few years makes in system configurations!
That would have had a gt1030 in it and cost $200 more not too long ago.
This is hands down the best aliexpress PC i've seen
What do you do with all these prebuilds David? I don't think some markets let you refund them?
10:33 "It's too dark, I can't see anything" the video game...yup, that's the impression that I get of it
this is becoming a series and im all for it!
sincere condolences to your wallet and credit card, tho.
not a big problem thanks to Linoooooode ;)
It's his job. Just like a carpenter needs to keep buying wood, veneer, varnish, and such, to make furniture, Dawid needs to keep buying different sorts of PC hardware to keep the business running. Technically he could even deduct from taxes stuff he buys for his business, but I'm not sure if it applies to this. If he gets a new PC for video editing, then for sure, but especially if he lets go of these random PCs after a while, it could mean they don't qualify as investments.
Hey Dawid, I think you should try some Oculink eGPU in a budget laptop, it's a small form factor PCIe connection and some companies make M.2 to Oculink 4x adapters that should work on any machine. It should be faster than Thunderbolt enclosures and cheaper too.
I love this dude's sense of humour
Not to bad of a starter Rig. It will be easily upgraded a piece at a time when you save up the cash.
Good unboxing experience, clear instructions, well-built, and all but the power supply seem like pretty solid components for the (pre-built) price. I'd say this one is a very weird win for AliExpress, props to "MXZ"!
No curse of Alma, its fantastic
You know, when people buy a new pre-build, everyone always tells them to buy a second stick of ram or a new power supply that wont explode and/or release a pharaohs curse upon ye but the actual best upgrade for a pre-build is just to buy a drill and make some holes in that case,, 500% improvement right there.
I knew someone who splashed out for a pre built with a 3060 when they first came out, then they were like "guys is it an issue that my CPU says it's at 100 degrees Celsius whilst playing games?" and everyone could hear their fans in the background.
My pre built came with that glass side panel and a perforated side panel. I put the perforated panel on can still see inside the case. But now theres allot more ventilation.
You know it means Serious Gamer(TM) when it has a dedicated RGB button.
That case looks like a fractal define compact, with a different front
This is the LEGION prebuilt case!!
It comes with a Donkey Kong PSU? AWESOME!
I love these product page. "All machines have stress teseing". The configurations have "paramenters".
Huh. Quite a capable machine for the price. Cheers!
thats actually really impressive.
I have a weird stutter issue with my pc, got a rx 6650, amd 5600( can't remember if its the x or not) and 32gb ram and I get great fps on most games, but some will dip from around 120 or anything higher and drop to lime 80 or 70, then back up. I really feel it and it actually is enough to make me stop playing games as much
