who hurt em? everybody. sadly, including iKONICS. is this a break up song for lovers? it can be. but it's more of a break up song for their brother, and their fans who left during that turmoil. there are a lot of reference from their previous songs (namely: love scenario, goodbye road and I'm okay) on this one and it all make me tear up whenever I see those parts. and yes this is personal to them because this is sort of their healing song. like they are saying we should move on. bruh it hurts so much but yes we should

After this comeback I'm putting Ikon up there with BtoB as the artist I'm worried are going to make me cry during Kingdom. They have such a way of writing sentimental bops. Bobby even said he almost cried when he heard DK's last part on that bridge/outro.

Absolutely love love love ikon so much. Dk’s voice is becoming one of my favorites. Also during Bobby’s rap, he threw a ring at a phone stand and it’s the same scene (the ring on the phone stand) as b.i’s part in love scenario.
The song feels incomplete but I think that’s what they wanted because it gives you the feeling of being left alone and feeling incomplete without the person you care for, if that makes sense.
Every iKONICs knows that this song, mv sets, choreography, lyrics were all about Hanbin. They showed their journey as 7 and accepted the fact that B.I is never gonna come back anymore. That's why on the bus, there's a seat for 1 person (on their debut show, they came out on the stage riding a bus) the outro lyrics and bus burning reference I'M OK mv because that's their last mv together. We all wanted another chorus at the end but they ended it with a hanging outro because that's how almost break ups ended. HANGING and questioning WHY.. This is their farewell song to Hanbin, not because they will try to forget him but for em to move forward as 6. Breaks our heart more but for me personally this is a very beautiful song.. Anyway, you can see all Hanbin's footprints in every scenes (Love Scenario, Killing Me, Goodbye Road, I'M OK, Dive) Journey of music and brotherhood 😭

Yes that was Hanbin's solo scene.... and now the 6 burning the bus
Anthony Bobby was actually there when they filmed the dance sequence without him, it's actually intentional not having him there. Bobby showing up later in the track represents him returning back to his members from his solo because at the end of the day he will always be in iKON, they are his number one priority, he even made this track to make his members shine! Side note his flow in this song is actually very similar to Hanbin's rap in love scenario but it is a shortened verse from their song "don't forget me"

Absolutely in love with this! Ikonics already know that this song is about B.I. (how they couldn't protect him, how they didn't realize they'd be apart, how they wish they'd treasure him before, and how they'll never forget him). This is def a different style for them but i think they're trying to start a new chapter and try something new as a way of moving on.

Song mentioned that the purpose of just ending that song like that was to represent emotions. It's when we get the most emotional and attached to the song, it sort of just ends to represent how the feeling of ending a relationship feels

I feel like you are WRECKED by DK in this, Anthony, lol!! I feel you cuz he definitely owned the emotions in this! Also, the burning bus... burning car in I'M OKAY? Overall, this song has the perfect energy and feels to be listening to every day, and I love the choreo bit when they go on the ground. The song and moves be lowkey powerful cuz of all the emotion (but I'm still bopping cuz of it's up-beat-ness as well lol). there are actually a lot of references in their sets from their previous music videos like love scenario, goodbye road, i’m ok, dive and probably more that i didn’t notice lol other than this being a breakup song, w3 can also be about them saying goodbye to their past and moving forward with a new start their career. there are a lot of theories about this mv on twitter and it’s really nice (and kinda sad) reading them. anyways, whatever the message this mv is portraying i will be listening to this song nonstop and continue supporting the six of them in their journey and also that one person i know we all have in mind 😊 thank you for reacting to this, anthony! kingdom will officially start to air on april 1 at 7:30pm kst if i’m not mistaken about the time lol

This song is about their time with their lovely BI and their tears, thats why there is so many water scene
(Opinion) - The song was for Hanbin for sure. Every scene if you noticed took elements from iKON's pasts MV's. The bus is symbolic of iKON going through this journey as well as having one seat empty between the six of them. Its bittersweet but I think its one final nod to this chapter of their career which is represented by them being separated by the bus by fire, looking at it reminiscing, and finally turning away and moving forward.

They’re trying to make it look like its a love story but most of their fans said its probably for B.I..
i think in an interview a producer (im not sure) told DK to sing the last lines as if his crying, thats why it really sounds like his in pain (which I think all of them are) coz according to Jay this is one of their hardest recording coz it makes them cry due to the lyrics..
I think the beat and the scenes reminds you of their songs IM OKAY and GOODBYE ROAD (just guessing😅)
Song said also in their interview that its their first time to end the song in the bridge part ( maybe to make us yearn for more, and not to put an end to it, just like their friendship with BI)
And with regards to Bobby i think due to his album and promotions etc (too busy also) his not able to join them with the first 2 verses including the choreo, but he said that his entrance its like his return from his U MAD performance (he wants to make it look like that? Not sure)
the video with fire was in I'm Okay MV.. and for a sad fact, it's their last MV with B.I T_________T this is why I think this MV is a compilation of their MVs from 2018-Dive (the last album B.I produced for iKON.. so far)

To answer the question on your thumbnail, they're hurt several times, and the biggest pain was we all know what.. after watching the MV it looked like a summary of all their MV's from 2018 to Dive.. then with the lyrics, I just thought that I know where this is coming from..
I watched this the 1st time on premiere without subs and DK's last part really hit me without understanding a thing lol, he delivered it well.. Song wanted that part but after hearing DK he let him do it.. the members also said DK's part makes them close to tears..
It's funny how your emotions are building up from the start of the song then here comes DK's part filling that emotions, then suddenly the song ends ㅋㅋㅋ they said it on live that it's a cliffhanger song.. and it literally is leaving you hanging, crying..

I'm assuming that Bobby was too busy with his solo work to learn the choreography before they started filming the music video,. The same thing happened with Haechan from NCT, he was busy with his NCT 127 schedules that he didn't have time to learn the choreo for Boom by NCT Dream before the music video filming so he's in "glamour shots" and other scenes but is absent during the choreo scenes so I just assume this is what happened here too lol
