I have bought 3 refurbished iPhones from Amazon and they have been AMAZING! Even the “good” has looked brand new and none ever had a battery health less than 90%! It’s a no brainer!!!

I just don't think it should be less than a 50% discount, the markup is probably making them more for this phone than they made on the new one.
I love my 13 Mini! Switched from a 13 pro max. I bought mine from Apple and got the 512 GB version from apple with apple care. Expensive, but as a runner, I do break phones sometimes and need the damage coverage.
Or you could get an Apple Watch and put music on that. 🤷🏻♂️

I liked the 13 Pro Max in that green but as you know, we can't get it new if we tried from apple so Amazon renewed is the way to go. Was $1,599 financed ($62.62/24mo) or now $1115 ($92.92/12mo) Amazon not bad. I normally buy new direct from Apple if new release. I'm open to used iPhone if fresh battery & you get yrs of life out of them.
I wasn’t even considering Amazon renewed. I like my 14 Pro, but definitely miss my old 12 mini. Was looking into a 13 mini and waiting to see if it would appear in the Apple Refurbished store, didn’t really want to pay $700+ new for it though.
I’ll probably buy it renewed. If it doesn’t work right, I suppose I can just return it.

I’d 100% be using a mini if I hadn’t been offered an unlocked, 256gb 13 pro for 500.. couldn’t pass that up! I do miss having a smaller phone.. hell I’d still use my gen1 se if I could! But I do use my phone constantly for work so I guess the larger screen and battery is nice to have. I’m still super tempted to sell it and get a mini while I still can though lol

Just got one from Amazon renewed. Body and battery is perfect. Screen had some scratches. I will exchange it and see how it goes. Happy with the phone though. Love the mini.

What happens with the apple warranty? I was given my 1st iPhone last year and it lasted me 14 months then it started turning off/on, went to different places to get it fix and they said it was because it was out of warranty, even appl3 said the same thing... do you know if that would happen with "Renewed" phones from Amazon?
It's really a gamble. You can't buy Apple Care on a used iPhone like that and if they're old enough then they just won't fix it. What kind of iPhone was yours?

Yeah it’s basically a return that someone made. Renewed is a used phone that the company has fixed and repaired for re-sale.

seems like u got a bad deal tho bro. You could’ve got it under $500 via a third party seller. Buying a renewed for $650 is not a great deal, at $700 you could get the brand new. You actually didn’t get $235 off cuz the renewed one doesn’t have apple care+.

I actually did because I got the 256gb variant. Comes with Amazons care plan which is essentially the same at Apple. Cost over $1,000 out the door at Apple

Anybody have any advice for a guy who has an iPhone in about 6 years I have in my car right now on Amazon a iPhone 13 pro Max.. it is refurbished all that for a fair price it looks great should I buy it it has a great review all that??? I'm coming from Android and from Metro PCS and I just don't want to leave my provider because I'm with my brother and my deceased mother her phone is still being paid for and I just don't want to leave so I know you just you know either put the SIM card in or a new SIM card in that they will give you at Metro or any provider being they have too? Yes you can I believe, but only within the first 30 days.
Does the battery last at least half a day?
Yes at least half a day. My wife still uses one with 89% battery health and it will start to die around dinner time.

What about the ones that are in good condition?
I’ve ordered those before and been disappointed. Most recently ordered a 13 Mini in good condition and had to return it after a day. Had a bad cell modem so it wouldn’t hold a signal, had scratches and scrapes on body, scratches in screen, battery life at 83%, and speaker grilles punched out at the bottom. Overall horrible condition for the price paid.

To me the extra $40 would be worth it when you’re already spending that much. The difference could be scratches in the screen most likely.

If it’s sold on Amazon you can be confident in it. eBay not so much. But even if it is a scam they’ll give you your money back.

Very true. If you buy the higher tier refurbished on Amazon, you even get a year.
I wouldn’t buy Apple care my self personally my saying is if it’s gonna break then it would break in year 1 of having it
