Call To Arms has this feature and honestly that's exactly what it is - giving you a better opportunity to directly control mediocrely armed militia troops to take out better trained and equipped professional soldiers and vehicles, and then loot them for an even better fighting chance~

Its a nice feature if implemented well but the ai seems to be ignoring the player during first person section

"First Person View Mode" makes it sound like you can watch a battle unfold in first person but you dont have any control over the soldier. That's how other strategy games I've played handle it.

So this is the skaven's reward for helping to destroy the warhammer fantasy world, getting a world to themselves where they can fight to the death with actual guns. Wonder if there will be a dlc or mod that allows for these skaven to get actual skaven weaponry so we can truly play world war skaven?

It would be interesting if the FPS mode would be limited on a commando-like unit (like the gal at the end) just to signify why is that specific unit is trained enough to use overcomplicated tactics compared to the regular infantry casually walking into the firing line.
