I was only planning to do a playthrough of the first world in this, but I fell in love with it after a few minutes so had to do the full game. The visuals are delightful and the level and puzzle design is very creative, much like the N64 games it was inspired by!
Game is spectacular, love the Banjo-Kazooie vibes and storytelling! Thank you for posting g
I'm not gonna watch your video solely because I don't wanna spoil myself! Thanks for reminding me of this game, I didn't know it had released!
Also, do you mind if I make a suggestion of a game for you to play?
Juiceworld
Too bad the game is so short.
Well i am not surprised, i saw your walkthrough, it is really beautiful. Even if it was a short game. It is something beautiful. I hope we see more games like this.
"Hey, do you remember that childhood classic platformer with the dragon and the eggs?"
"Spyro Year of the Dragon?"
"Nah, the other one. It had talking shoes."
Sometimes atmosphere is so much more important than game mechanics. Excellent art direction in this one.
Amen.
what do you mean by game mechanics? were you trying to say graphics?
@@ferny6394I think what he means is if this game had a bland art style and just relied solely on the platforming that it would be dull, but the graphics, atmosphere and vibe really elevate it all and bring it together and deliver an experience
Damn they nailed the vertex lighting, one of the best looking n64 style indies Iv seen so far.
I hope to see more N64 inspired games, this style is so nostalgic
This is as N64 styled as it gets. From the interface, to the art assets and graphical style, to the vivid colors! With the oversaturation of PS1 styled games currently around, seeing N64 or even Dreamcast styled games is very much welcomed!
Its like someone wanted to one up Yooka & Laylee without scamming fan for money. Who knew, a good game didn't need to have massive empty worlds, fans not shamed or full of broken promises, you just need to make an appealing game.
28:19 this is actually a real phenomenon: you aren't buoyant in mine water, because it is oxidized too much (if I remember correctly), and instead of swimming, you sink to the bottom like a rock.
My god they nailed the look and feel of an authentic N64 game.
It literally looks like it could’ve been designed in 1998. I had a blast with this one.
BRING ME EGGS.
ONLY EGGS CAN SUSTAIN ME.
Took the words right out of my mouth! 😂
Such a pleasure to watch! I feel like the technical designer put his soul into it, the map design is great, and even the fears of the characters are relatable. No, really, just like coffin's I'm afraid of eyes. And Luna with Fynn are so cute in the unexpected ending! Peace to the Bynine studios, you guys have to make a sequel to this
I completed the game last night and had a ton of fun. I really love how side-stories from one stage continue in others.
Like what happened to the missing Giant in the Airborne Armada or the war over the Boxed Nightmare.
Similarly, I love that there's still _secrets_ to find once Fynn gets his big boy wings...
Okay, this game looks super cute
Well i will say this. this game is really beautiful, and really has the inspiring factors of N64, that person put beautiful effort heart and soul into this game. It is simple, but also really enjoying. Also the fact no combat, is a interesting pace. simply Solving puzzles. and Finding all the Eggs, the reward for it is really nice. if only there were more People like Bynine studios, there be some really interesting games. the style really takes one back to the more older days. the Golden era. Bynine Studio, if you are seeing this comment, i will say this. Extremely amazing work with this game. and i hope you continue to do wonderful.
And you Alpha keep doing amazing in playing many games.
Game is really sweet. Nothing super amazing but sometimes something just can be itself to be great. I will say the egg get jingle was the only thing I'd say wasn't quite right.
Also for some reason the diary room in the nightmare realm was locked for me with a big door.
The new Banjo kazooie and mario 64 looks lit
Oh my gosh this is amazing! I shed a tear or two at the ending. How wholesome :3
They really nailed the N64 look, I love it
10:25 man, the statues are so thicc they could lower themselves into the Mariana trench without imploding like no biggie
This game looks absolutely adorable. I love it.
This looks SO CUTE! I gotta check this out myself. Wishlisting it right away.
its intersting how its both creepy and cute, as tended to be somehow very possible on the N64. mr. kerringtons insides seemed somewhat normal until you got to the heart room. then it felt... very strange, almost... i dunno. eldritch feels too far, but it reminded me of the well in loz. it was creepy, like something you weren't supposed to see in such a kid friendly looking game. or like the backstory on most kirby games. its so cute, and it was called, the destroyer of worlds, made of the hate of ten billion tormented souls, and kirby hugged it and it was friend, and it knew acceptance and love. and its just kinda weird like that.
Very imaginative environment art.
The game's title is a missed chance to call the game Spyrio Kazooie Siblings
Ahhh! I follow this artist and their Pokemon art has kept me satiated while I wait impatiently for the official release of this game!! I love their work and style!
Was a little bit confused, because G and 6 look very alike here. 60 on xD
This here is something special!
1:02 I can already tell the Sage ate his siblings
Serious nostalgia
Indie game. Spyro meets Medievil and Sonic the hedgehog.
I would like to watch this but also this seems like something I'm going to want to play myself
1:28:00 How the hell did you make that look so easy?
You can really tell the devs put a lot of effort into this game.
good old nostalgia
I bought this game a couple days ago, guess I should get around to actually playing it
23:46 so that was my brother trying to do when he smacked me over the head! He was trying to help my brain hatch!
pretty cute game
Omg I love this lil game! Is it on switch by any chance?
I think it's PC only at the moment. It would be perfect for Switch though! :)
We really out here making n64 games in the modern age bro. Crazy! Whacky! 🤪😜😝😛
Rapaz mas que jogo lindo e fofinho 😮😃
N64 inspired games…ahhh…to be young again. 😊
Fynn is so cute! I wanna cuddly him!
I’m missing 1 of the 12 question mark card things from cavern of dreams area. Any idea about particularly hidden ones I might have missed?
You may have looked it up by now, but if it's the same one I was missing, try looking around the fountain outside the Gallery of Nightmares. There's something fiendishly hidden there
can the texture filtering get turned off?
What other melody reminds me the melody at 58:10, please?
Hm... probably Dead Can Dance - Return Of The She-King.
WHO DO I GIVE MONEY TO!!?!?!?!
I wish this was a horror game
1:38:00
@@SurrealDistractionsI meant like a Mario 64 ROM hack horror
Looks cool
