Clockwork Studios - A new UK scoring stage for soundtrack recording

Clockwork Studios is a new UK scoring stage for soundtrack recording with Clockwork Sessions production team and the Scottish Session Orchestra.
The facility comprises of a large hall for full orchestra (holding up to 80 musicians), featuring a balanced and focused sound ideal for modern orchestral recording as well as a smaller dry space in studio B (holding up to 15).
Located in Glasgow, Scotland, this reconditioned church is a beautiful sounding space acoustically treated specifically for our use. Built in 1953 and designed by architect Thomas S. Cordiner, we have consulted with our architect to keep as much detail of the original church as possible to create a world class recording facility.
The hall is dry enough to capture the most detailed nuances as well as having a lovely bloom of sound giving it warmth. We have recorded games scores with large orchestral forces, chamber orchestra, string ensembles and traditional groups, through to delicate warm Gaelic vocals, percussion and solo pianos, all complimented beautifully by the natural resonance of the room. With a second studio linked to the main hall, this makes Clockwork Studios the perfect scoring stage to record all types of scores.
The studio is designed for tracking work based around Protools HDX and utilising Grace preamps and a Focusrite Rednet Dante system. For remote recording, Audiomovers gives you access to the control room and hall in real time with video link livestream. Full kitchen facilities, parking and hospitality packages are all available.

We produce sessions from our main studio and contract our Scottish Session Orchestra, recorded with our team of engineers lead by the Grammy winning David Donaldson.
