I love this dudes voice and his music.
This actually just happened to me when I found out about my girl cheating on me. The night of i literally took that drive at midnight thinking. And ironically on my apple playlist this song came up. Of course, I pulled over and pretty much sang this song at the top of my lungs. The part that killed me the most was “ is this where it mends or it breaks”. So this song hit me hard.
Hopefully breaks. Don't put up with cheating.
I think something a lot of people don't catch about this song is that the rock is a double meaning for a ring.

It’s “mends”, not “bends” (although that makes way more sense, bad writing there).. the whole point of the song is the inbetwen, not the this or that.
Relationships are all about bending, not mending. If you’re putting a bandaid on it all the time, you don’t have it.
