NEW DESIGN: HOW TO MAKE DRAGONFLY SWIRL - Cold Process Soap

The soap swirl technique was inspired by the work of Etsuko Watanabe. It's a combination of several - the Taiwan Swirl, the Comb or Not to Comb, using a 4 divider mold with an insert that forms an arch. If you would like a schematic of the swirl pattern I used leave me a comment or send me a not to [e-mail] and I'll send you more detailed instructions.
I used several different bright colorants that were based on a peacock's feather (links are below) and a fragrance oil from Nurture Soap (Abalone & Sea) that was well behaved and slow to trace. I think next time I'd either go with a lighter or brighter blue and redder purple so that the contrast shows up better in final cut. Or have longer pours for the colored batters. Overall I'm really please with how this one turned out and opens the door for several other pattern and design techniques I'm thinking of doing with the modified inserts.
