I don't think I've ever felt as called out as "do not tell me you're one of those players who sets up all their machines in an empty field" I'll have you know I set them all up in a cleared area of land for when I do eventually build my base there
Yea problem is you never set up a base there now do you? Maybe you build a quaint little cottage for your chests, maybe it has a kitchen, but you spend 90% of your time outside, and completely get rid of the chests once you have ME storage up and running. That is of course you ever get up to that point, you probably have played modded so much that you can’t play the same modpack for more than 3 days. 3 days is not enough to get shit done, 3 days is only enough to get the foundations going for what you hope to do. Maybe if the pack speaks to you, you play for a week but even a week is only enough to reach the mid-game of most packs. Good job you built a 3x3x3 big reactors reactor, wow, you have 20 plots of different foods only to make 1 stack of the same meals, you built the crushing wheels for Create, you got to the moon, you got Cobalt and Ardite for Tinkers, yet just like me and everyone else who plays modded you give up early right as you could have built vast networks of automation or actually build something big, cool, and exact with all the extra building mods. The last time I spent a ton of time in a modpack was “the 1.7.10 pack”, Create Aeronautics is my best bet for actually making me want to be *in* Minecraft for longer than a few days.

@@declaringpond2276 Personally I'd go with Radmin, much more straightforward and easy to use, it has very little delay within network, you can create the network with one button press and you don't have to create an account for it, whereas Hamachi caused me a lot of headaches in the past cuz 50% of the time the connection just didn't work for some god knows what reason and you gotta f_сk around with settings

This is literally how i ended up playing pretty much alone back in the days but in the other way around, nobody wanted to play with me in 1.7.10 modded, it had divine rpg, chocolate quest, dungeon tactics, aether, twilight forest, atum, millenaire and a lot of other amazing mods, but everyone wanted to play vanilla, i've even made custom structures and quests for chocolate quest and millenaire, making custom cultures to millenarie and mixin and match npcs from both mods, editing the merchants, was fun making the modpack and playing, but playing with people would be way better
I feel called out, i have an entire quarry and auto crafting/processing setup in the open air next to a village house, the only thing I've built is a 10x10 square of oak planks to place random chests and a double crop tower
I believe my laptop is actually from, like, 2008 at the latest. I just gave up trying to play anything more ram intensive than OSRS and just bought Minecraft for the Switch.
I'm with Dagoth, if a man is strapped for cash, he's strapped for cash. If Nerevar needs mods to have fun in a minecraft server with his friend, he's not playing the game right, but that's just my opinion.
