Welcome to the one of my favourite Disneyland Paris Hotels, during the festive season, Disney's Sequoia Lodge! In this video, I show you a room tour of one of their main building rooms, the shop, and we have a few drinks at the Redwood Bar & Lounge.

I'm watching this while laying in bed in Sequoia Lodge. I know what it looks like I'm literally here but it's always good to see your videos! I was pleasantly suprised with the coffee machine and the kettle; I have dragged my own kettle and instant coffee from home and if I had known I'd have taken coffee cups instead!
Totally agree Sam. Sequoia lodge is beautiful at Christmas. We stayed there 8 years ago with my whole family for Christmas and New Year in adjoining rooms, we had a Christmas tree in one of the rooms. It was absolutely fantastic. With all the log fires, it's absolutely gorgeous. It's definitely my favourite.

Agree Sam , really like Sequoia Lodge , having a late in the day drink in the Redwood bar in front of the lovely open fire is a great end to the day in the winter. Always found the staff so helpful too.
We've just come back from a trip at Sequioa 20th-24th November and completely fell in love with it 😊 especially with all the Christmas decorations. I hope they don't change the decor too much as its perfect as it is

I love this hotel, I'll be staying there again this summer 😊I find that it's good value for the price and my niece lova the swimming pool.The plugs they added are cool, they are definitly needed^^
I'm curious to see what it'll look like after the renovation!

I love Sequoia Lodge Sam, its such an amazing hotel. I have stayed in one of the lodges & also in the main building of which I did prefer. I adore the Redwood Bar, that fireplace is really incredible. And yes Sam, I saw WISH at the weekend & really loved everything about it from the story, cuteness, stunning graphics & music. Awww look at those cute Star plushes!!! ( I'm sold already ..lol ) x

I recently went on another Disneyland Paris trip. I stayed at Santa Fe and I had a great time at Disneyland Paris

We usually stay at Cheyenne but we’re looking for a change next time we go and Sequoia is definitely on the cards..Nice you get a kettle in the room and the plug cube charger “ thing”…..We always take a adapter power bank…it has 4 sockets and 2 USB’s.
I only drink Mermaid gin and Champagne…(not together) I love hot chocolate….👍🇬🇧

Great video sam! I stayed in sequoia lodge last year during christmas the hotel was beautyfull just had a bad experience in the room itself but they are going to renovate them which is needed but i loved the decorations for christmas there

I think you are right about that renovation. When looking for Christmas 2024 I could book all hotels except Seqoia lodge.
Me and my mum are going to Disneyland Paris and staying in the hotel next month and the room does look basic but I suppose we are only gonna be sleeping in it, so basic is really all you need if you aren't going to be spending much time in your hotel room, we will most likely be going to the hotel room during the day like once to rest our feet. However the hotel does look very nice and cozy
I love this hotel is my favorite of the Disney ones me and my mom stayed there last year by the Christmas season and was magical we loved it 😍 last day even snowed a bit and lovely seeing it by the window of our room when we wake up 😍

When we were at Disneyland Paris my first (and only time for me, my husband went there as a child), we had to buy a new suitcase due to our overbuy merch. 😅😅😅 We stayed at Sequoia Lounge too.

Hi Sam, great video we are staying there in May 24 , I would love to take my fire stick for the TV in the evenings would I be able to use it via hdmi on the back of the TV.
All the rooms in the disney hotels need renovation except the New York of course. I still prefer the Newport though.
I think Newport is very ugly and outdated I mean the rooms

Stayed hotel cheyane in 2001 but other pther 2 visits partner hotels good but prefer disney ones

What do you think is the best disnet hotel for a young couple who is going to Disneyland Paris for the first time?
I would say Newport bay! It’s my fav but depends on how much u wanna spend as it’s a more expensive one
You have the Disneyland Paris book that is sold out everywhere! 😮😭 I hope it comes back, I was really disappointed when they told me at Storybook that the book was sold out :(

I eventually had to leave before having time to meet you: me and my wife are new fans of yours and your videos have been our dinner companions in between Disneyland trips 😅 I hope that's not too weird! And we were at Walt's at the same time on Saturday which was a shame 'cause we really wanted to chat with you a bit, you seem such a lovely, honest, amazing person to be around :) and you almost crying at the end of your Symphony of Colours Press video is soooo relatable 🤣we always cry at the park, and then get Disney blues for ages after coming back. If we lived nearer France we would be going much more frequently for sure!
Just want to highlight that some of the "added" things to the room may have been because of the Winter Press event. Stayed at Sequoia Lodge in May this year and there was no kettle in the room nor a plug extender for us. We were told that we could get a few free hot drinks a day from a machine in the main building but we never really ventured out to find it so can't speak much more about that.
Very much aware that things may have changed in recent months but we also didn't get any free water. It's not a criticism, Sequoia Lodge is my go-to hotel at Disney for price and location and the grounds are stunning. Just felt important to note the difference in experience I had earlier this year for anyone who may want to know for reference when looking to book. Also of note was that the bed mattresses were very firm. We were a group of 4 adults and all of us found them uncomfortable which is a real shame because everything else about the hotel is lovely. Really excited to see renovations happening!
Hello, I can confirm that at least the extender and water is very much for ALL rooms and not just for the press event. They made this change a few months ago, I think. Not sure about the kettle x

It’s been a while now that Disney hasn’t released a good movie/animation. I love the parks but the movies are not the same as they used to be… Disney now is keen to put politics ahead of creativity, imagination and families. Not a surprise they lost so much money in the last few years. They should go back to what they used to do: create movies for kids with no indoctrination. It’s a pity.
