Exploring Catalina Island on Mountain Bikes

- To support the launch of our July product release, we set out to the town of Avalon to film a little edit with our crew. Inspired by this island just off of the Southern California coast, we were curious what it would be like to take our mountain bikes and explore the backcountry. We were rewarded with sweeping 360 degree views of the Pacific ocean, and miles of endless gravel climbs. What was lacking in epic riding, was made up by the views, the remote camping, and spotting wildlife that is unique to this island.

Hi, what was your route? I saw you left Dana Point but it seems they only go to Avalon. Makes it harder to start at Avalon and end at two harbors.
So they let you bring your own bikes from Dana point? Any idea if they allow you to bring your own ebikes?
Yes you can take ebikes as well, you just have to remove the battery during the boat ride.

What level of trail is this? Blue or black?
It’s not very technical riding but it is a lot of elevation and exposed and hot! That’s your biggest thing to be ready for
