Beautiful. Thank you for sharing your little slice of paradise with us.
Last time I've seen that much snow must have been when I was 6. Climate change is real.

I'm from nw montana, about 30 miles from Canadain border. We are feeling the winter for sure. This reminded me of us here. Hang in there, the sun is coming back!! I k ow we get more sun though winter, but I get the feels. Most days are mostly dark. Well, until December 21 comes around. Yay! You guys are adorable, and I think you are so beautiful! Thanks for this video! Be blessed up there!

Helpful video- Thank you so much. You guys are so cute! Anyway, bit of a practical mom-type question here- what kind of clothes do you recommend as essential layers, and shoes for surviving winter walks? Thank you so much.

I really recommended buying merino wool base layers (icebreaker, smartwool etc). They’re really great for moisture wicking and keeping you warm. It’s all about layers when you’re exploring the outdoors. The way I like to layer is merino base layer, half zip fleece, puffy jacket and then a wind/rain jacket. It’s important to stay versatile when hiking. You have to be able to change it up depending on how you’re feeling, how much you’re sweating and the weather. I’m constantly taking off and adding layers when I’m out adventuring. If you’re just hanging around town in the winter than a parka is good to have. For footwear, in the summer I like wearing a pair of ankle height hiking boots. I enjoy the extra stability on uneven terrain. It’s not necessary to have a winter pair but I do just because they tend to be lighter than winter boots. Often I will just wear a warm pair of winter boots anyways. I hope this helps! Don’t hesitate to ask me anymore questions!
