Yeah, no denying it now, he's arguably the best player in the world. I think even the really good defensive players don't want to cover him because he embarrasses players. It's always interesting to see what players they throw at him. I notice they don't put star players on him anymore, not worth it, they can't stop him and only get in foul trouble. I see Greyson Allen "covering" him a lot in this game. Not too bad, hell, he held him to 50....
Personally, I still have Joke, the Freak, and Steph above him, but at the level those guys are at it's so hard to compare the impact they have on their respective teams because they do so much. In terms of his talent, finesse, swag, flair, skill, you name it... he's the best in the business, at 6'7 doing what he does, he looks like the new age version of Larry Bird.

Steph still has more impact on the court with and without the ball and I personally can't put an unproven guy up there with champs. I know he's capable of doing it, but I need to see it to crown him.

Yes, Luka is the best player in NBA. Jokic is the second best. They can still refuse to give them the MVP awards, they can sabotage them, it doesn’t matter, that doesn’t change the obvious. The problem for Luka is that the Mavericks are very mediocre team and their couch supposed to be fired after the last season. With Kid they don’t have a chance to become a really strong team. And they need a couple much more classy players.
