    AMAZING THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!
    I got this to work on Windows 11, the ”boards” text file is located in C/Users/username/AppData/Local/Arduino15/Packages/arduino/hardware/avr/1.8.6

    I found out that you can just copy and paste the section between the ############, rename all "micro" instances in the new section to "micro2", and then an extra board entry appears in the boards menu. Then it's easier to switch between USB names.

    vid stands for "vendor ID" and pid for "product ID", and actually you'd have to be a member of USB.org and pay quite a bit to get your own vendor ID. But as long as you don't sell your Arduino project I guess nobody cares what you do.

    Hello, thanks for the great video. I want to connect two Arduinos to Abelton Live, however it does not seem to work. My computer is just in an endless loading loop. When I disconnect one Arduino, it seems to work again. I changed the name of one Arduino, but that did not help. Does someone have an idea what I can do here? (The Arduinos send Midi on two different channels)

    Thank you so much for uploading these, it works great! One issue, I would really appreciate the help- sometimes there is interference between the Arduino controller and my other midi controllers. When turning a knob on the Arduino, the user modes on my other midi surface keeps changing/scrolling completely randomly. They are on separate midi channels. Please help!

    • @NerdMusician
      @NerdMusician  Před 4 lety

      Wut? How can one be interfering in the other if they are in separate channels? I'll think about it, but no obvious answer right now.

    • @rahulmurdeshwar1209
      @rahulmurdeshwar1209 Před 4 lety

    Gostaria de tirar uma dúvida se possível.
    Estava lendo esse tópico forum.arduino.cc/index.php?topic=535526.0 e não consegui descobrir se a pessoa conseguiu resolver o que estava tentando fazer.
    A questão é, pretendo criar uma placa baseada no chip utilizado para o arduino uno. Se fizer a mesma coisa que você fez, já seria o suficiente para tanto o gerenciador de dispositivos, quanto o gerenciador do joystick (farei uso do unojoy para a criação de meu projeto) aparecendo o nome que eu escolher para ele?

    • @NerdMusician

    Does anyone know if you can find a pro micro with a normal USB instead of a micro or a mino USB? If you can´t, is there any practical way of attaching a micro USB to USB to it?
    Thanks in advance

    • @ThinkingPear410

      Micro usb has very small soldering pads. Normal usb wont fit on the board. You can try to connect a female usb to male micro usb using cables. Or make a pcb for it.

      Because I renamed mine to Arduino 1.8.3. Doesn't matter the name. What you need to do is: right click and "show package contents".
