This dudes vision is off the charts. He keeps his eyes on the play/man with the ball while causally taking on blockers. I know he’s slow off the line but it appears to be on purpose. He’s so tall and strong that he waits to make a move. He’s not erratic with accidental “oops the runner ran into me tackles”. Could be one of the best run stuffing lineman in the draft.
His strength is insane. if he gets a hand on you, you're not going very far. if a team can condition him into a faster get-off he'd be very valuable in the run game.

Gervon is 3 inches taller than Jalen Carter, he’s faster, more violent and only 2 pounds heavier. He’s a beast! He’s projected second round but I think he’s a first round lock.
Good run stopper, but mostly benefits from staying in his gap and waiting for back to run into him. He has no disruption on the line and probably won't play on third downs.
Great big body, really like him but his release off the line is incredibly slow and NFL linemen will abuse that. I like him in the third round, but because of the weak DT class he will go in the second.

It's actually patient. And, allows him to pick where he wants to disrupt the play. In the League, he'll react better as the game speeds up.
