The GT+ has a factory fault with the rear shock and linkage. It collapsed on her in the middle of a ride, got lucky. Our group had one of the first ones in CA, got sent to Galfer to prototype lines. Pretty solid now, took forever for the cases to come in. I'd probably get one as an upgrade to the SV1k but it just won't die after 80k miles.
@@Mad8vCycles more like a freak accident. hers was the first wave during covid. another person got his in the second shipment, no problems with his. the shock bolt under the seat wasn't torqued right. they just did a chassis service to fix it.
2011 I was getting back into riding after a hiatus. I was sick of messing with the carbs in my '01 Bandit 1200 and wanted something EFI. I sold the B12 and had it down between that Tiger 1050 and the DL650. I went with the DL. Two years later I was doing track days and "accidentally" bought a race prep'ed SV. Then I started crashing.. er.. uh.. racing it and buying parts off you. Now here you are showcasing a Tiger. How things could have gone the other way?!?
I love my 04 Sv1000s 💯💯💯 Getting it Dyno Tuned this weekend!!!
Tigers have also caught my eye. I have my doubts they will ever out handle a proper SV though.
Probably not, but while bringing home a pizza and a case of beer...
All 3 desirable and well worth the money ,even SV650 not priced offered!
That svs isnt for sale. Its owner loves it

Is there a recall? Or a tsb?

I had a sprint like 12 years ago. Great motors. A bit too heavy imo
I know a guy who still rides (the wheels off) a sprint 955. He loves it. Ironically he also raced an SV
if you do decide to keep one. definitly take the GT
It is seriously good
No Furries??
Bring a blue honda fury to stand next to them?
