The vocal synthesizer and sequencer features a built-in microphone offering 8 different voice character sampling options (all voiced by Roiland himself), plus custom Rick and Morty visuals for each. Other features include animated LCD display, folding stand, 120-seconds sample memory, alarm clock and much more.

All of the Teenage Engineering products are incredible and I look forward to getting one of these just for the fun factor.
They're super expensive though.

Fintan yes the op-1 is a great product but the price is ridiculous.
You're better off buying a gaming laptop, a daw of your choice and midi keyboard all while still going under the cost of the OP-1 and having more functions.
It also doesn't help that they increased the price without a good reason.

It's basically like the PO-35 Speak but with a different paint job/screen graphics. I was hoping that they'd change up the vocal effects but functionality wise it's basically the exact same, just it appears they got Justin Roiland to record some stuff for it so the preset patterns/sounds that come with it are presumably different too.
Not my cup of tea, especially since I already have the Speak, but it's definitely niche enough to sell out extremely quickly. And it's a good ploy to get a less producer-centric audience in on the Pocket Operators.

I've got the OP-SPEAK, which this sure appears to be, and yea it's pretty great. They downplay just how powerful the fx, tone, trim, speed etc. are.

Petty awesome, just know that one of these puppies will set you back by 100 bucks, so think about for a minute or two if you are at stage in your music making where you'd use this for more than just the gimmickiness in the first few minutes.
