- Hard work comes in many forms around Jackson Hole. For the ladies of the Jackson Hole Ski Patrol, this involves tirelessly maintaining the highest level of safety around the mountain for our guests. From avalanche mitigation to helping injured skiers and riders, these women are keeping you safe and paving the trail for young girls in skiing.

I want ot thank you girls to inspire me has a new patrol on the hills this year. I found myself very proud of being a mother, a women and a snowboard patrol. It made me talk of my volunter activities and inspire other girls int the class of my son. I'm planning on a girls day at the mountain too for next year ;) Thanks a lot. It means so much!

This seems sexist. Why would anyone assume a female would perform the job differently so as to be worthy of a video?
It might feel that way at first glance but inorder to recognize inequality and lack of representation you have to be frank and honest about what's actually happening. Ski patrol is a very cis male dominated profession. So these women are outside of the majority. I'm glad that you think that there is no reason as to why these women would perform this job differently but not everyone, especially not everyone in America is that quite evolved.
@@yipinyourface Just because there are more men on ski patrol does not mean it is inequality. More men typically partake in physically demanding jobs than women. Generally speaking, they are stronger and can handle it more easily. It's more along the lines of social stigma associating certain jobs as mens or womens work. Same reason why you see nursing as a highly woman dominated field. Nothing wrong with the women being ski patrollers, just don't make it about gender inequality. Otherwise, they wouldn't have been hired in the first place.
